If you have the MFP app on a smart phone or something, you can still log without internet access, it just won't sync to the site until you get back. Also, after calorie counting long enough, you'll be able to remember exactly what's in the food you're eating. Do the best you can this weekend and keep at it.

I stopped eating back my exercise calories and FINALLY started to lose weight, but I'm eating about 1700, not 1200.

That always hurts, when you make a bad decision and feel like you can't eat the rest of the day. Since it's really weekly calories and not just daily calories that effect weight loss, I shift some of my impulse eating decisions to the next day so I can still have a normal dinner, but will have to be more careful tomorrow.…

These sprays can get away with (or at least thought they could get away with) saying it's 0 calories and 0 fat. They are allowed to round down if it's .9 calories. Same with trans fats--if it is .9 g of trans fats per serving, they can say it has 0g. So deceitful.

The best thing I did to bust my plateau was stop eating back my exercise calories. I get along just fine on 1700-1800 and the exercise calories are just a little bonus that help you lose faster.

Make sure you're not feeling SUPER deprived. I work in sweets every day, but they are (almost) always within my calorie allowance. 80/20 rule: 80% calories are healthy and "fuel" foods in main meals, 20% calories are treat foods.

I keep busy when I'm out and in social situations, so usually there isn't the temptation to over eat. But when at home, I'm either bored or exhausted from a long day and just want to sit and eat all night... So I've got this same problem!

Greek yogurt and a boiled egg. I like Oikos fruit on the bottom, and i usually eat my egg with a piece of toast, but you could do 2 eggs and no toast to reduce carbs.

Ha, I've also had my husband hide food from me and he is TALL, so it's always in a place where I can't see it or reach it if I knew where it was.

I agree with what's been said. I mean, you still want to enjoy yummy food, so take 3 bites and ONLY 3 bites, then walk away. Brush your teeth, destroy the food with like Windex or something before you throw it in the trash OR box it up and put it out of sight and get busy doing something. Go outside for a walk, go check…

Feel free to add me! I used to do great all day, then coming home from work, I would lose control. I agree with what's been said...keep busy, sip some hot tea for the evening instead of grabbing a snack.

I felt uncomfortable in my own body all the time. Getting dressed in the morning was depressing. I wasn't willing to go out and buy larger sizes, so I decided it was time to make a change!

It's all about money. This is why I try to eat foods where you can identify their origin. Poptarts don't have a mother or grow in the ground...and they have a list of ingredients longer and more unreadable than I am comfortable.

GOLDFISH, I eat them by the handful. My husband and I buy the costco size box and are lucky if it lasts a week. poptarts oreos or any sort of cookie snack tortilla chips Dove dark chocolate. I always say I want to have a little chocolate stash for "emergencies" but I always end up eating it when I'm bored.
