Nicole offered some good tips. I would say a few things. Some people do not truly believe they should be thin and sabotage themselves until they get to where they see themselves. Others look at a certain goal, reach it and relax, rather than looking beyond the goal. I would suggest goals after you hit your initial success…

No one is addressing the real issue WHY you do it. Why is there such an obsession? Why is it controlling you? What other focus could you be doing? What would you do if there was no such thing as a scale? What would you do? Try to answer some of these questions. Hope it helps. My best to you.:glasses:

You are correct, motivation must come from within but don't discount the motivation and support of others. It can help in some of our weaker moments. Thx

Turn your "WANT into a "MUST" and list your reasons "WHY". Keep it in front of you everytime you eat. Will you do this? Will you commit? We are here for you!! You can do it.

Write your goals down and put them where you go to get the food in your house like the refrig, right inside it. But more importantly, WRITE DOWN your "WHY" and read it everytime you reach for food that is not in your plan. Your why must be a MUST. I have so many like the time at Burger King when I ordered a cheese whopper with extra mayo and I heard the cook in the back say "heart attack ready to happen" and then our eyes met!!! Yikes. or when the little kid in the store says "hey fat man" and I could go on but I am doing great now and used them all as inspiration.
