Why do people take good info as negativity? If you don't want people's opinions don't post. Most of us have been there and have gotten past all the crap and are just trying to help.

I get what you're saying but it still just comes down to being in a caloric deficit or caloric surplus. Your husband wasn't doesn't something right.

^^^^^This.

The caloric deficit and workout will do it. Lose the pills. You don't need to go into a drastic deficit either. Don't starve yourself. Stick to something that you can do long term, slow and steady. Good luck on you journey.

Seems like we get one of these daily now.

You don't think they talk about nutrition in schools already? Sure they do. Doesn't matter when that kid gets home doesn't have an example at home to look at. Change yourself for your children and you will see them make better choices.

Name three. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Everyone who has done something about their weight has everything to do with this. I'm pretty sure any success story on here or yahoo or anywhere is because a person did something for themselves. Not because they set around and waited for the government or someone to do it for them. Anytime you do something for yourself it…

Hey person. Look at the other picture on my account. I was fat. I didn't sit around and wait for somebody else to do something for me. I got up and went to the gym. Started doing some reading on nutrition and educated myself. I learned my own body and now I'm not fat. I don't feel sorry if a person doesn't decide to do…

I approve this message.

Why would this help? Are the children driving themselves to the fast food places and buying the food?
-
How about people control their own food intake overall to control obesity. Stop depending on someone else to do it for you.

Lol... Love it.

Perfect!!!!

Wrong. 1 calorie of brocoli is the same as 1 calorie of chocolate. The OP asked the question in a caloric management way. Not health.
-
It doesn't matter where that 100 calories comes from when you're only talking weight gain and weight lose. Overall health has nothing to do with caloric intake.
-
You look great. Question though, why did you block your face out? Isn't that your face in your profile pic for us to see?

Call me crazy but, I don't think I can make any strength or muscle gains with progressive overload in the garden or going for a walk with my dog. I'm glad you have found something that you enjoy doing though.

Wow. I would stop stealing from the company and either tell them their mistake and pay for a new membership or not go at all. It's going to catch up with you and they'll probably back charge you for the times you were there. I'm guessing they know you're going because you're checking in at reception. If you're dishonest…

Try fitting a glass of wine or a bottle of hard cider in your macros every few days or so. Substitute that carb for another at night. You will still be hitting your calories and macros and getting to enjoy some of the things you love. No need to cut them out if you don't want to.

I consider all food to be calories, carbs, fat, and protein. I am a lot more comfortable with food since taking on this mind set. I don't label anything healthy, dirty, or clean. If I can fit it in my macros then I can have it. I don't exclude any food group that doesn't give me issues. I know some people haven't gotten to…

Don't avoid it. Eat whatever the *kitten* you want to eat! (Hodgetwins voice) For the purpose of your macros it won't matter. The bread might be more filling but it's up to you.

Invest in a power rack if you have to room in your home or garage. You will be able to strength train safely at home by yourself. You shouldn't need a very expensive one at holds over 1000 pounds. ****'s has one for $399. This is only if you are serious and want to strength train at home. They also have a half rack that…

We do make chili. I guess I should have mentioned that.

I have to differ with you on this. Bulk has to do with amount of calories you eat. you can still strength train and eat at a deficit. You will burn more calories. Don't grab them light weights and expect to break a sweat. Lift heavy with compound lifts and you will have more intensity to your workout. If you want both do a…

This is how it's done right. Follow if you want to keep if off. I used to be 278. Now I'm 211 from this same stuff.
