Why would you skip or not eat in the evenings? That's when you have your cravings right? Eat when your body wants you to eat. Not on some time schedule like "oh it's this o'clock I should eat."

^^^Church!!! Now to the OP and others doing this. There is nothing wrong with it if you need to give up something to create a caloric deficit. You can figure out how to have those things and still create a deficit later. Good for you.

^ Yeah this, you don't have to eat right after you workout if you don't want to. Unless you are getting contest ready the average joe isn't going to lose all his or her gains cause they didn't eat in that "magical window" within 45 minutes of training.

I don't know what your idea of healthy is. It's different for everyone. But, eating plenty of brown rice, beans, potatoes,and other high fiber foods along with adequate protein and fat should be taking care of that hunger. If you're hungry eat more. Also make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Mobility work is key. I used to be in the same boat. I thought well I'm 6'3" I shouldn't be able to go ATG on squats. But, I really wanted to. Check out Elliot Hulse's mobility stretches on YouTube. That changed my life when it comes to squats.
