On maintenance for a year now. Learned a lot on the way of what to do and what not, what to allow myself and what not to.

Where all this hollering about grams and pounds comes from… O wait I remember, I gave the example of eating 400 grams chicken, then dony elle monique and x3 (neither one is my ex god forbid) said you probably mean lbs and I responded that at 400 lbs of chicken I'd probably lay eggs on which something incomprehensible…

Read up on Deepak Chopra lady. It's a guy, I learned today. And maintenance requires control, so does intended weight loss. It's based on the same method.

Well said, and I'm not saying that to get laid!

No. Whether you take Vindaloo, Madras, Rogan Josh, Nonya, Green, Red or Pink, they're all good and contribute minimally to the effect you're trying to achieve, albeit that he magical ingredient - that's why I took curry as an example - is cumin, which has tons of advantages for your health! I've once wrote about that in…

My grandpa was such a grammar watcher. I never knew until I once caught him red-handed. Apparently he hadn’t noticed me walking in, too occupied by correcting someone’s comment on a post about monasteries in Cambodia. I asked what he was doing. Oh, he said, I’m just making sure there are no mistakes in this person’s…

Check, you're right! Thanks for that. Anyway, he suggests that we are not our body or mind. Didn't even know that after I tried to find an answer for the asker.

No clue, go ask Deepak Chopra. If she can't give you a satisfying answer, I'm sure she'll have some great curry advice!

It's not about magic at all, I don't get why people are raving about magicians and hats and rabbits (I talked about chicken by the way, not any other animals)… Magicians trick an audience, I am merely talking about tricking your body which is much easier and does not require special skills! Just try this for once: stand in…

You guys are keeping me busy, I can't concentrate on my new book (How To Become a Better PUA)… Can someone please stop commenting?!

I feel I'm obligated to help the less fortunate so let me share a story… I had a neighbor once who ate differently every day, three times a day. He kept changing it so much that his habit became a routine in itself. One day he confided to me that he could never eat a same meal because otherwise his life would be even more…

Let's agree to disagree. It's a matter of tracking, not thinking about food all day long.

I know I had to chose between clarity and ambiguity. Had I chosen to be clearer from the start, we wouldn't have 5 pages of comments, there would be less entertainment and we would not have known about crazy parfaits! My apologies for that.

No, I'm eating averagely above it. Look, I once dated 4 girls at the same time and none of them believed me either. One of them had bad eye sight and one had problems with reading graphs… but what they all had in common was the pre-assumption that I HAD to be wrong. Well, turned out that they actually were only one girl…

No, this is just an example. The 'trick' is to change one thing that you control and that your body is not noticing. Let me share some assumptions: 1. the main factor of weight loss/gain is food. Not cardio, not lifting, not sex. 2. everybody has a standard of maintenance. 3. changing this standard has an effect on your…

No Dr. Mearing, I mean grams. I think after eating 400 lbs of chicken one could lay eggs...

Here's the science:

Why would I need sources when it works over a vey long period? Boy, you sound like FBI director Mearing from Transformers III who just thinks about paperwork in a crisis! How this works is not rocket science. It’s logic and based on personal, empirical data -experience. And it’s backed up from here all the way to…

And there're great pizza recipes on this site, even paleo ones if you're into that stuff. If you make one yourself you also have control over what you put into it. Now I know that isn't exactly the Jeckyll-and-Hide remedy you asked for, but I'm sure there's some good Freudian literature to help yourself explain what's…

I'd eat the pizza and make up for it later. Which means, honestly log it and see what effect it has (probably not much). Plus, sometimes you just need to re-feed your body to boost that metabolism. As long as it doesn't happen everyday.

Lowering your daily calorie intake makes you think about food. A lot. Thinking about food a lot makes you hungry. And since your body just loves all that fat you’ve been feeding it all those years it now wants to hold onto it, and it is going to resist against your plans. If you fight it, you’re going to lose. You can’t…

How's everybody doing in China? It's hot here in Chongqing, the gym has became a sauna and still I try do do my weekly portions of workout! Stay healthy everyone, and stay safe! I'm going to the police station for my yearly registration so… gotta run!

I was 70 kilos and wanted to lose 10. At 58.5 I found myself way to scrawny, so I adjusted it to 61-62. Have been this since half a year and quite happy with it.

On several forums people were saying that Hypertrophy III lower body part of the new rules of lifting would be hard, but from the schedule I couldn't believe that. How hard could it be?! I mean, just some1.25 squats, Bulgarian splits (which we already did in HTI) and split good mornings whatever that is? Must be fun rather…

Coming from a poster who, according to the picture, is eating a protein bar!

Chicken curry: 1 Chicken breast 2 Cumin powder 3 Coconut milk 4 Olive oil 5 vegetable of your choice

Good to hear from you again! I think losing muscle has more to do with eating on a deficit than exercising with lower weight and higher reps, so if you're still eating enough I wouldn't worry about it. As for the 25 rep dips - I just do bench dips! Haven't found an alternative for 25 chin-ups though… Anyway, I'm now at HT2…
