I'll be having tuna tossed salad. Iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, celery, peas and tuna with some dressing, not sure what kind yet.

I let mfp set my stuff and just eat what I know I should. I don't really worry about it too much as long as my cals for the day are not under 1200 I feel ok.

1. Are you paleo/primal or primal? Not sure yet 2. How long have you been paleo/primal? started to change 2 weeks ago. 3. How did you first hear about paleo/primal? In a support group for Hidradenitis Suppurativa, a rare skin condition 4. What’s your favorite thing about being paleo/primal? Eggs, yum! 5. What annoys you…

I am such an old soul. I see people posting things like what do those 18 year olds know.....I am afraid I lived backwards. At 18 I knew a lot of misery, struggle and very little of fun. Now I am 30 with three kids and while we still struggle we do it with fun and flare thanks to the kids. I just want to have the energy to…

When your doctor starts in on you for putting on 2 lbs instead of losing it and your response is, "Oh it's fine, I'm doing a reset." Then you have to explain it to her and she wants more info! OH! When you start to worry about the awesome workout you are missing time to do because you are on this thread lol!

Ok according to the directions I found this should work now. I sure hope so! Added: I followed the instructions given to me my the help people and it still won't work! Fine I made the dumb picture my main photo.

Are you doing exercises that involve the abs? If not, then your body may be shifting the fat to the area least used. Try doing more ab involved work outs. Pilates and Tae Bo are good examples.

As far as being picky goes, I don't eat beef very often, I don't like the grease. Or pork for that matter, too chewy. With fruits and veggies, not really, I try to eat as wide a variety as I can. Some times that is hard, but I do my best. The way I look at it is balance over time.

Thanks this REALLY helps. I worried I was over doing it because of how full I have been feeling, now I know its normal and how to know I am ready to start cutting. THANKS!

I bought a triple crockpot so I can make 3 meals at once. If I need to.

Sounds like a plan  The joy I see in this plan is the flexibility. I have decided to do a one week reset for myself then go down 100 calories for 3 weeks and see how it goes from there. I set my exercise a bit high but that is because I was so lazy and was pretty much starving myself. I need to be more active to…

I have never dieted. I have increased exercise and stopped eating sugary foods. For a while I dropped all soda and lost 20 lbs. I got depressed and started drinking pop again. Went and got back about 4lbs. I do not diet, I make life changes. I found this site and decided I needed to track my food. I found out I was…

I'm a little surprised that I am not getting any info....It's kind of worrying. If no one knows what the minimum length of time to eat at TDEE is then how do I know I have done it long enough and can start cutting back a little?

Be sure to be very careful when talking weight. My husband has been talking lately about how he hates his pop belly (we don't drink beer) and his little man boobs. I mean he gets downright depressed. So I got him some Tae Bo tapes the other day. He lit up like a christmas tree when he saw them, but he won't use them. I…

Click the home tab, then click the goals subtab and edit goals, choose the customised option. That should do it for you.

Eat peanuts and dry roasted edamame! Since I added these and raw sunflower seeds to my diet (not on my diary much yet since I just started) I feel fuller. I am slowly dropping the soda. I freaked and drank more yesterday because I was so full where do I fit the calories in?? I am doing a metabolism reboot for 2 weeks…

You are now starving because your body is starving. You are depriving your body of needed nutrients and calories. Before your body was ok with it because it was new. Now your body has reached the point where it is saying, "HEY, whoa, where is the food? What are you doing? I need more fuel!" If you do not increase your…

I have been eating more to weigh less for 3 days. Yesterday was day 2, I was able to hear the alarm. Still struggled to get out of bed but was able to wake up! Today, the alarm went off and ten minutes later I was up and at em. This is big for me. I had found out day one on this site that I only ate 900 or so calories O.O…

Hmm....if this site isn't a plan then I don't have one. I could not follow any plan that tells me exact meals to eat and not to eat. The whole calories vs workout thing this site has going on will be my salvation if I stick to the intake recommended and try to limit my naughty foods. I can'd do low carb, I get dizzy. I…

My new fave: Seasoned Steamed Carrots 1 can carrots drained (have no tried with fresh yet) 1 tsp butter or margarine (will be trying with evoo soon) 1 tsp 21 seasoning salute (got it at Trader Joe's) Toss the ingredients and steam for 15 minutes. OMG I have never tasted anything so GOOD! Expanding on the above, if I want a…

You sound like you need to locate a food pantry. Also see if Angel Food has a distributor near you. Sometimes they have really good produce boxes. Also you may qualify for food stamps. I know a lot of people think badly of food stamps but if you NEED them you should get them. It is people who get them just because they can…

If you have an Aldi near you, you can get tuna for around 40 cents a can. At Walmart Tilapia is less than $10 a bag. Tilapia is soooo good! Each piece is about 1.5 servings too so its easy to make 3 and feed 4 people. Watch for sales too. I never get beef of any kind unless its a really good markdown. We only eat meat 4…

Hmm, I can take my family to McDonalds and get 8 doubles for around $9, no fries, 1 value drink at like $1. The most I have ever spent eating at a fast food place is $16 for my family of 5. I am in MO. Mind we RARELY buy meals. But for that same amount I can make 3 meals at home so....yeah it can be cheaper to eat at home.…

Donuts. If a box comes in the house I can not stop myself from devouring most if not all of them. They are manna to me. I get half of one every time I lose ten pounds as a reward. My husband helps me make sure I only eat half.

I'm really bad, I am so used to NOT eating before 11 am I am having to teach myself to eat breakfast. I am starting slow, for now most my exercise is done late afternoon through before bed.

I had some chicken chow mein. Most calorie dense meal I have had in a while. Its amazing how poorly one can eat when they do not track it.

I enjoy eating carrots, any kind of bell pepper, banana peppers are best on sandwiches, sprouts, cukes, any kind of lettuce except iceburg (though it can be crisp if you crave crunch), grape tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, ok almost any kind of tomato is good raw lol. celery, green onions, baby spinach, um....I don't think…

It may, because the daily intake they give covers how much your body needs to run properly. If you eat too little your body will think that food is scarce and will begin hoarding calories as fat. I am having to teach myself to eat more. I had no idea my current intake was as low as 900 calories on some days.
