  • Here's what I made for my freezer and I'm super great full I did... Peanut butter & jam roll ups with strawberries & bananas Bean & cheese burritos Southbeach diet quiches Breakfast oatmeal cupcakes Blueberry quinoa scones Pancakes - basic blueberry wheat and banana chocolate chip Veggie sheppards pie (with ground round.)…
  • I had my baby girl July 12th and I'm set up for 1620 cals and I add 500 to that for EBF. For some reason when I add it under my breakfast I don't see the addition of calories so I just eat over and deal with the RED.
  • Here's baby Hadlie's Birth Story! My birth plan went out the window!. No matter how much you can try and prepare and hope things go a certain way they don't always pan out. I went in on Thursday for a follow up ultrasound to check on the abnormal Doppler from the previous scan. (There was a concern with blood flow to the…
  • @kelly - great job on the quilt! @dawn - 2-3cm is awesome progress! Had both an ultrasound and a midwife appt today....I may end up getting induced on Thursday depending on how baby is doing (I've yet another ultrasound to check her blood flow) My midwife checked me today and I was surprised to hear I'm 1cm and thinning!…
  • I'm interested as well...I've bought a bottle and I'm waiting to see my midwife tomorrow. She said I could start taking it last week but with other recent complications I decided to wait on it....I'm also kinda scared that it will work too quickly, lol...long shot I know but I read about all the mucous plugs being lost and…
  • Congrats to all the Mommas that have had their babies! I'm due on Friday and I'm Getting really worried because they think I may have IUGR and I see a high risk OB tomorrow recommended by my midwife. I hope my little lady is ok and that I can still deliver her naturally when she decides to come! Trying not to stress out!
  • Damn this looks good! Thanks!
  • http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2013/01/08/breakfast-oatmeal-cupcakes-to-go/ Just made these oatmeal cupcakes and they use 2.5 cups of mashed overripe bananas.....they're delicious and make part of a quick breakfast on the go. I freeze them and take them on the road with me with an apple/apple sauce. They're also good…
  • Thank you Ladies! I feel a lot better now that I've had time to settle! That's crazy that we were in the same boat! Did your little one turn?
  • My bag is packed for me and husband but I still need to finish baby's laundry to pack her stuff! The little lady is still in BREECH position and I'm soooo upset!
  • I didn't up my calories either...in fact my doctor told me I don't eat to eat any extra calories. So I set myself at maintenance and I've been real careful not to go under if I can help it. Then I found out I was glucose intolerant....which has caused me to eat as per a specific nutrition plan that has me watching grams of…
  • Just about the same here...have fluctuated between 0.5 and 0.25 doses of levothyroxine/synthroid throughout my pregnancy. I've managed to gain roughly 15 lbs my entire pregnancy and I'm 36 weeks...I wasn't really aware it could mean for a higher weight gain but I certainly watched my diet and kept up with exercise...mostly…
  • ^^^ this is the exact plan I've been on for the last three weeks and I'm doing very well keeping within my blood sugar ranges....so it is possible to be managed. It's all about the "oses"... Glucose, fructose, lactose...those evil carbs! I was also told to exercise within the hour of eating before I test so now I got for a…
  • I ended up getting 2 of these too and I couldn't agree more! Super comfortable once you get used to the no wire idea

  • so I've been fighting the boob issue all along, lol! My ladies were big to start out with and I've always been an underwire kinda gal. I started to notice that my underwire was cutting into my breasts and would leave an imprint when I took my bra off each night - not good right? So I went and bought maternity bras in a…

  • I also take perscription to control my TSH levels...found out I had an issue with my thyroid during fertility testing so I was taking the medication prior to conception. My OB gave me a big scare though - I told her I had stopped taking the medication (I was on separate calcium and iron prenatals that I had to take…
  • I am so going to add this to my list of baking before baby! Thanks for sharing!
  • My doctor has me taking D3 along with my prenatal. I started off taking 1000 x2 per day, now I'm taking 400 x1 per day cause my husband bought me the wrong bottle :( no idea if I am deficient or not or what the reasoning was, I just do as I'm told, lol!
  • so i'd certainly want to "tone my uterus" to help with childbirth but everything I'm reading says this kick starts labour and that is quite worrysome to me...maybe i'd hold off until 37 weeks
  • you're such a kind soul Liz! If I lived closer I'd so take you up on your offer!
  • My go to is pancakes! They're easy to make in large batches and freeze and take seconds to warm up. I just made a batch of Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes which worked out at 172 cals for 2. (But I know it can be done in less) Ingredients are cheap so something to consider. Search the forums for the recipe. Its sounds like…
  • This is my complaint daily! I always blow waaay over and I strive for 40g a day. I find if you stick to sugar from natural foods/fruits it's easier but you'll have to limit fruits. Then the candy calls me, lol! I had wheatbix, skim milk and 3 strawberries and I was already halfway to my goal, it's tough!
  • I agree a fall or hit would be most concerning....having done an obstacle race before I know about the mob of people all rushing you and many won't know you can't handle a bump out of the way. Something else to consider is all.
  • I've been googling like crazy to find vegetarian crock pot freezer meals with little luck :(
  • I'm currently in the process of trying to choose a doula (and convincing my husband we can afford it!) they're super expensive but from what I've read so completely worth it! I'm hoping we can manage as this is my first pregnancy and I really want an experienced support person and birth coach to get me through my "first…
  • I always count it...but I undercut considerably what MFP populates for total calories. My yoga class is pretty intense I might add.
  • saw these in your food diary and was gonna ask you for the recipe....thanks!
