I excercise with a trainer at the gym 4x week. I also try to add small bits of movement throughout the rest of the week, maybe running a bit, or taking the dog for a nice long walk. I just turned 50, and yes, it is harder as you get older. I could drop pounds like nothing in my teens, 20's and even 30's. However, now I find that I have to work even more to get the scale to move downwards. I have been working out 4 times a week and eating very clean and healthy. The weight is coming off, but it is slow.

I have a protein smoothie....almond milk, 1/2 frozen banana, 6 oz. frozen berries, 1 scoop whey protein powder, 2 tbsp flaxseed! This is delicious....and good after a workout!
