Oh my gosh, I didn't even consider cupcakes...... what do you wanna bet they're calorie-free too?? I think my friend is onto something here.

Yeps, shots it is!

Yes!!! Oh, I think that must be the secret..... wow, I've been doing it all wrong.
-
Oh yeah! But only thin-crust pizza, the other crusts do count supposedly.

That is awesome!!! Even more awesome that you're supporting her! :) I'm sure she thinks you're awesome, too, for it! :)

^ Yep, crockpot! You can make stuff in the crockpot on a weekend day and package it up into individual servings during the week. You could even find a used smaller crockpot from the thrift store or a garage sale so you can make two or three different dishes in less time—if you get bored, I know I do!! If you center your…

I second this! Finding this out as well.

I would assume so... I don't think it's sexist, I just think it's fair to make sure someone in their 20s is thinking about it a long-term sort of way. I'm in my 20s and can't see that I would ever want to have kids... but I also know that things change 10 or 20 years down the road, so I'm willing to leave it up to my…

I'm recently married (a little over a year), and this was also a choice my husband and I made. We're well aware that we could change our minds in the future, but I'm doubtful we will. *shrug* We don't get that many comments about it, but I suspect that the older we get, the more comments we'll get!

This made me lol.

You go girl!!!! :glasses:

They're doing it at my mom's center! Sounds like fun :)

You're sedentary, but workout 5X a week and walk to class 3X a week? .................. that's not sedentary. Less calories =/= more weight loss. Slight deficits equal weight loss. It's science. Actually, everyone IS pretty much the same. It's basic science, barring a medical condition. In fact, I used to think everyone…

Eating nothing all day, eating a whole pizza at night, then only eating a snickers bar for breakfast the next and skipping lunch, and then working out? Um no. This: "The theory behind zig-zagging is to fool your metabolism into not knowing it's dieting. They say if you eat the same # of calories each day, your metabolism…

Okay, let's evaluate what happened: You didn't eat at all, all day long. Then you were obviously ravenously hungry when getting home from work, so you ate an entire pizza in one sitting. First, we're not sure WHY you didn't eat all day long. Maybe you were just busy and didn't have a chance? (Which I think is a lame excuse…

^ this is awesome. I think I'm going to do that!

Yep, not enough calories for working out 6 days a week. I work out 6 days a week, and have been eating 1800 calories a day—still losing. You'll feel much better and make better choices doing that.... plus, you won't stall your weight loss.

That is all.

I've been eating vegetarian for almost a year now, and haven't had a problem (I do eat fish on occasion). I also take a multivitamin. I think the bigger issue is that I've been feeling sick off an on, in addition to just feeling tired. I think it might be unrelated.
-
That might be it.... I know my mom had issues with iron deficiency, she has Celiac disease. But, I looked at my diary and my workout... and I am wondering if all of this is unrelated and I'm just sick. Going to see the doctor today or tomorrow.
-
Hahaha.... good point. I think I'm going to try to go to urgent care today. I looked back at my diary, and in fact, I'm getting MORE carbs and protein than I was a week ago, when I was feeling fine. So I'm pretty sure feeling bad is just a coincidence, and due to something else. Maybe I just have the flu!! OMG I hope not.…

I was just thinking that.... trying to google everything in the world to figure out what could be going on, came up with some stuff about reactive hypoglycemia????? what in the world..... The part that is hard for me to wrap my head around is that it seems like this all started after I started trying to incorporate weight…

I'm getting 50% Carb, 30% Protein, 20% Fat. No, I wasn't restricting my carbs, but trying to eat a lot more protein. I got a really good night sleep last night, good on all those macros, and had a rest day—and still feeling really bad off and on. Today, same thing.
-
Hahaha.... my hubby says the same thing! lol Measuring cups and my blender!!!

I love almond milk!! I think it tastes closer to cow's milk as far as drinking, especially the vanilla unsweetened kind. Yumm!!!
-
I ate 3 mini twix, mini snickers, mini reeses, and a mini chocolate cupcake. Thought I was doing good because they were all mini, but boy is that deceiving! LOL Phew, I feel better now too. :)
-
Yes, taking a multivitamin plus vitamin D (living in the northwest, blehhhh), and protein supplement. Tonight I was feeling pretty bad... so I just ate a bunch of pasta and oatmeal, and feel 100% better. I think you're right—probably not eating enough!

This was my favorite costume, from a few years ago. A Starbucks Cup of Coffee! :)

I'm eating 1800 calories, 15% below TDEE because I'd like to lose the last 6 pounds.... but I was considering that 1800 might still not be enough. Sleep is OK—I've been going to bed earlier for 9 hours of sleep, but last night for example, I woke up a few times and had a hard time getting back to sleep. Not sure if that is…
