If when, away from the computer, you "log" in your head... see the food diary page and everything.

This ^ Meat is going to be the highest in protein for lowest carbs. I eat mostly vegetarian (I eat fish occasionally), and can manage about 40 carb/30 protein/30 fat. I rely a lot on dairy and eggs.

OP, please don't take offense, but that is super hard to believe. How did we all get here? I'm sure it wasn't because we didn't like feeling full and just couldn't eat any more calories even if we tried. A handful of almonds is approximately 100 calories. Add a handful of chocolate chips, and you've got a 200 calorie…

Ahhhh much better! lol Or.... Maple Bacon Bourbon Pecan Pie, anyone?

I hate to say it, but that really doesn't look like chocolate. >_<

I think it is a matter of preference, mostly. For example, I get hungry frequently during the day, even when eating fewer, larger meals. And I get hungry at very specific times. So, I plan my meals and snacks to accommodate that. That way I don't approach a meal ravenously and overdo it. But my husband, for example, is…

Wait... what? It's hard enough to kill something once, but to kill something 6 times a day every day?

I LOVE Zumba. I wish I could do it all the time. In tie for second place is running outdoors and lifting weights at the gym. Didn't discover I enjoyed those two until recently. Makes up for not being able to do Zumba all day every day!

I really like how you think. :drinker:

I use soy milk because cow's milk makes me a little sick. I like to drink almond milk, and think it tastes very similar to cow's milk, but it doesn't have as much protein. I use almond milk for baked goods (low-cal), and soy milk for protein.

I know, right???? People who eat so much are just gross, especially women!!! Ewwwww.
-
Oh cool!!!!! I bet it's awesome!!!!!!!!! You could just eat that stuff all day, and have 0 calories!!!! You'll for sure lose weight and have awesome muscles then!!!!!! :drinker:
-
How is that even possible?

There is probably less than 1/2 cup of rice in even a very large roll of sushi. I don't see why rice is the problem?? Even if it has cream cheese or whatever, it's a very small amount. A philly roll with 9 pieces can be under 500 calories, easy. If anything, I would stay away from the crispy rolls, which have fried pieces…

I've had one since late 2011, and haven't experienced any of those side-effects. In fact, I experienced them a lot BEFORE I had the IUD, then they subsided quite a bit after having it placed. You might want to get your thyroid checked, though, or your hormone levels. I was tested and found I had low thyroid levels and high…

Myth: You have to eat like a bird to lose weight. Myth: We all got fat by eating a moderate amount of calories, exercising, having self-control, and enjoying things we like in moderation. No, it definitely wasn't pigging out on McD's every day... Myth: Women who eat more than 1200 calories are just gluttons and eat pizza…

Maybe what they *mean* is that, for the same volume, muscle will weigh more? Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking.

^ This. I went vegetarian to lose weight a year ago.... now one year later, I've found that cutting out meat doesn't help you lose weight, and in fact, means you have to work harder to get the right nutrition that will assist you in weight loss. If you love meat, you won't be able to sustain that lifestyle. I never liked…

I agree that you may need to have different food choices. Feel free to look at my diary---I am same height as you, started out at nearly the same weight, and eat 1800 calories a day—still losing consistently, slowly. I eat eggs for breakfast with an english muffin, pb and a banana, then have a snack of greek yogurt later,…
