This won't help you with eating in the car, but I just made a really yummy lunch: diced leftover chicken, diced half an apple, shred a whole carrot, tiny drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper...rolled it inside lettuce leaves. I'm really struggling....very very cranky!!! I have to admit Ihave cheated a little each day, but they're getting smaller. II'm going to hang in there though.. Only on day 3, trying not to beat myself up.

Today is my day 1, and I feel like I might float away! Will I eventually adjust to drinking all of this water and tea? Craving some carbs right now, but I know if will subside in a couple of days (right?).

Hi, I'm Megan. 37, mom of two girls ages 3 and 6. I've lost about 14 so far (who knows how much I put back on over the holidays!) Looking to lose another 12 or so. I'm starting the diet this weekend....need to get the book and read a bit first. Good luck, everyone!

All the more reason to keep going and really shut them up when you reach your goal! Feel free to add me if you'd like. You can totally do this....do it for you and surround yourself with those who will cheer you on, not pull you down...even if it's strangers on MFP who are on the same journey. Good luck!

It's funny you started this post...I was just watching Tony Horton on the Dr. Oz show yesterday (on YouTube) promoting his ten minute workout. I was thinking of trying it...I love his AB ripper workout, and would like to try this one too.

I, too, really liked Miss Peregrine....hope there are more to come. I also loved The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society (Mary Ann Schaffer), The Gargoyle (Andrew Davidson), and Cutting for Stone (Abraham Vergese). Not exactly fantasy, bit good books.

30 Day Shred has intervals of strength, cardio, and abs....I definitely tightened up by doing it for the full 30 days!

It might be a little more challenging than 30 DS, but not much...is pretty similar.

This is really gross, but it works....gargle with red wine vinegar. I used to get tonsillitis over and over, and this was the only thing that would help of I couldn't get right to a doctor. Good luck!

I'm slacking....but I did 8/19 L1D1, 8/21 L1D2, and tonight 8/22 L1D3 I really like it, but man can I feel it in my hamstrings!!! I think that 30DS definitely prepared us for this one! Keep up the good work!!
