That looks yummy, what size shoulder do you use and how many cans of beans?

Sassy, I definitely recommend Muay Thai! It adds to regular kickboxing as we use our knees, elbows to strike with. My classes are 2 hours...start with a 30 minute boot camp warm up, just over an hour of combos on each other and then another 30 minute burn out (boot camp) at end, it'd awesome.

Hi All, Thanks for setting this up Sassy and for all that are joining to help motivate each other . I've been wanting to do it for a long time now and kept pushing it off. I am going to be 40 in February and want to drop 25 before then. I also want to get back to my Muay Thai Kickboxing in October and need to get back into…

Hi All, I have a questions - I plan on doing some other type of workout as well. On a day that I go for a run instead of the video, does that still count as a day in the 30....or only every time you do the video? So, if I run every other day will the 30 day really be 60 days? Help please :) Zamy

Hi, I'm not sure if this group is still going on but would love some friends to check in with while trying to keep my sugar intake down. I've fallen off the wagon with my fitness pal and really need to get back on track.

I was looking at it but got the Nike fuelband instead. I love it and am able to compete with my friends with it.

Dont focus on using strength (hitting hard) at the beginning, focus on learning the techniques properly. You get more power when you do it right and less chance of injury. You can add speed and strength once you have the fundamentals down :) Its very addictive and fun. Have a great time with it.

I had coffee, cereal and half a grapefruit.

Anyone know if you can get cheesecake jello mix in Toronto Canada? I tried loblaws and Sobeys this weekend with no luck.
-
How about creating a Canadian group?
-
I'd love to be a part of it.

If you leave your bed unmade its easier for spider and bugs to get in...just saying :)

Lesbian geek - does that count :)

Feel free to add me. I'm a bit snacker and am trying to make healthier choices.

Thanks for all the tips!

I only do class day twice a week. On those two days I eat more, especially protein to get me through the two hours. I think I need to add some cardio into the days I'm not kickboxing to help me achieve my goal.

Yup, tracking my food on here. It has me at 1360 cal a day. Im 5'7 and currently 170. I'd like to get back down to 150. Put on alot of weight the past few years due to health and stress.

I try to plan my next day the night before and then post it on MFP at that time. I find I stick to it a bit better if its already documented on here. Keeps me accountable in a way.
-
How many calories do you burn each day with it...ie what do you post under workout?
-
How do you know when to move up to the next level...Is it one every 10 days?

I'm Zamy...coming up to 39 in February. I'm aiming to loose 25 lbs by summer. I do an intense Muay Thai kickboxing class twice a week so I am aiming to do the shed 3x a week. I'm a big snacker (sweets) which is my problem :(
-
I've been meaning to start it for a long time. Im in!
-
Thanks for the incite. I think I will keep using my regular high power blender. .

Very important to wrap your hands when you box or do Muay Thai. You may also want to ice it.

What do you put on your steel cut? I tried it but didn't love it. I know it's SO good for you.
