  • Cold rain, bleh. I can handle rain in the summer, I can handle cold now....but together? Miserable! I'm just glad that I'm only running three times a week, so I can usual move things around and get out on the nice days.
  • Cucumber water is exceptional. I have to disagree with the person who said water doesn't have a taste. It very much does have a taste. If you're drinking tap or spring water, you're getting various levels of minerals that influence the taste and distilled water tastes oddly stale. I prefer to stick to flavorings found in…
  • If you google insanity spreadsheet, it's one of the first few websites to show up. It really is amazing. It allows you to track information for two people, and provides a graph for each to track weight, body fat, and a few body measurements.
  • My goals are to: -Continue outdoor running through the winter. I already have my eye on a pair of Yaktrax so I don't slip and break something. -Continue taking Hot Yoga classes every other week
  • I would definitely get fitted for shoes! I ran last year, did a 5k and stopped running. This year I started again, but got fitted for shoes after I started to experience pain along the outside of my knee. New shoes that were meant for my feet and the way I move made it disappear instantaneously. They're a great investment.
  • I made a juice last night that was 4 SMALL stalks of kale, 2 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, and ~1/4 honeydew. The honeydew sweetens and tempers the celery. It was nice and smooth, and almost buttery feeling on the tongue. I really enjoyed it. Could have been brightened up with some lemon, but I was ready to "eat" dinner!
  • Good for you cutting out pepsi. I used to be a cup of coffee in the AM and at least one diet coke during the day girl, but I haven't had either since I started my reboot and honestly, I don't miss it. I can't even remember what coke tastes like at this point. As for the bathroom- nothing scary, lol! I'm more regular now…
  • a masticating juicer will get more liquid out of low moisture produce such as wheat grass, but if you're new to juicing and not sure if you're going to stick with it- they aren't worth the price tag. I love my Breville. I have a Breville Juice Fountain Compact which is great to start with. You have to empty the solids…
  • I'm halfway through the 15 day classic. I felt like a rockstar during the first five days. I was doing great, tons of energy, I was running faster, and feeling amazing. I'm crankier on the 5 juice only days, but I'm attributing that to pms and the start of my period. I personally don't think I could do more than 5 days,…
