If you sub out the rice for cauliflower rice, this would be keto approved. Right now i switched away from keto as i just have too many events coming up.

Mike Matthews has some pretty good information on carb cycling but like others have started it's mainly for performance and not weight loss. If you like it for compliance than it can be a great option. Essentially, set up your heavy carb days for the days you work out and your low-carb days for the days you rest.

We need more info. What are you goals outside of weight loss? Do you exercise? What are your height andweight?

Does it count as protein? Sure. Is it a quality protein with a good amino acid profile that can support muscle building? No. And last time I checked, it's even questionable if there are any benefits for consuming it via supplement.

A lot of gyms won't allow that.

They have different calories.

It depends on the type of salmon. Atlantic is much more different than a sockeye for example.

Its hard to workout the full details but that lifting routine might be suboptimal. That doomsday generally doesn't hit each muscle 2-3x a week. Have you looked at your routine recently? Something like a PHAT might be a little better

I run adidas powerlift shoes. They are great for lifting. Its a hard sole shoe and adds a lot of stability.

People spout that non sense that your strength will catch up because they want you to believe you can be as strong or stronger on keto. Its just wrong. Take any fat adapted person and carb load them and you would like see PRs all day long. Even being fat adapted, my strength was 25% down. The fact is fat requires moreβ¦

Can you expand on the protein to glucose conversion? I am not sure i understand your view point or "benefit". I assume you aare talking gluconeogenesis.

Remove the corn and it can be keto friendly.

How do your calories and macros look like? Also, why ACV? You know that does nothing for you right? And if that is a current pic, why are you cutting Overall the plan doesn't sound unreasonable if you are ok with monotonous

This is equivalent to when ketogenic first became popular. Even a few athletes switched to "improve their performance". Guess how many stayed and continue to follow the keto diet? None. You will similarly see this with those athletes following a plant based diet. Most have gone back to a conventional nutrient dense, highβ¦

This is the reason cutting is so damn difficult.

While the roll isn't very low carb friendly, this pulled pork came out amazing, especially considering it was my first time with a smoker.

Does over eating Easter weekend count as a bulk? If so, I am bulking now :D

Also, salt all your foods and add in things like pickles or olives.

Have you tried 647 Schmidt breads and rolls? They seem to be the closest for me. Their bread is 40 calories per slice and buns are 80.

Yes, you can vary sources of proteins to get complete proteins. It doesn't take away from the fact that the best sources of protein, iron and b12 will be meat, eggs, dairy and fish. But that is a semantic argument. Also, I don't think you fully understand the ketogenic diet. I am on it and I don't have to supplement. Butβ¦

Is your decision to go plant based because you read some books? Honestly, a person can be very healthy with meat and seafood included. One of the most recent meta analyses put a diet highest in lean animal proteins and veggies to be one of the healthiest ways of eating. This was even over a plant based diet. Keep in mindβ¦

The cost alone keeps me away.

The admins are working on solving the stripper bots. It's super annoying. I am back on semi track. After this weekend should be a bit easier to keep on track. Back down to 167 and hoping to get to 160. Definitely gained some muscle though as i have more definition at a higher weight
