  • Thanks @karllundy I think running is the sport that I should have got into earlier in my life. I do think it fits my personality to a great deal. I did a 5K race last weekend and I was running 8:19 per mile.
  • Wasn't planning on running today, but then remembered it's my three month running anniversary (7/9/2015), and so decided to go on a shorter, little, shakeup, 5K run *i say that on purpose to tickle myself :) used to be out of breath running 20 seconds, no exaggeration* @krdews how exciting! good luck with the run. let us…

  • So, what are recovery runs? I take it they are shorter runs done the day after an especially longer run? Now, what is an especially longer run? Would 6.5 miles count a long run? Often I feel I need to run for a couple of miles they day after. Does that count?
  • yeah, tell me about the whining  i am doing another 5k in a couple of weeks, Oct 18 and after that i will shoot for a 10k! but, like you, 10k is probably the max i will do, at least for a while

  • @jburke141 and @zcb94 why do you get so concerned about lower sugar? In other words, I thought sugar in the 80s is excellent, but you seem concerned when you have that, am I missing something? Mine 101 today! @BarneyRubbleMD excellent. you're killing it!
  • @kristinegift awesome pictures. really. are you sure you didn't pay a professional photographer to take them :) *just kidding of course*

  • @kstar_lee Awesome work and congrats. I did that not too long ago--maybe 7 or 8 weeks ago-- and remember it well.
  • I see you ran out of routes and had to go in circles, eh? Awesome job. I am not sure I'd ever be able to run the long distances you're running, but, hey, that's okay too  Seriously though, watching from here motivates me to no end! And, @kristinegift your runs are amazing too. I can't believe you run twice…
