Another great run--very comfortable breathing and muscles. Now I know why running is such an addiction. 9/1 rest day -- elliptical 9/2 4.2 miles -- wasn't that easy for some reason, but done! 9/3 rest day -- elliptical 9/4 3.17 miles -- that was probably the most difficult run since I've started seven weeks ago. The…

W11D1--done TODAY’s RUN: I was doing Bridge-to-10K W11D1 and now I get it, more so than ever—I could have kept going and going: my muscles were relaxed, my breathing was comfortable, I was enjoying the run—steady pace with what seemed to be limitless energy. Amazing and strange! I stuck with the program and its plan…

9/1 rest day -- elliptical 9/2 4.2 miles -- wasn't that easy for some reason, but done! 9/3 rest day -- elliptical 9/4 3.17 miles -- that was probably the most difficult run since I've started seven weeks ago. The humidity was so defeating and soul crushing! 9/5 rest day--too hot/humid, elliptical 9/6 rest day--too…

@7lenny7 thanks for the advice. excellent set of recommendations. And, re beer, it's actually supplied for free for the runners :) I don't even have to bring one from home!

@Stoshew71 thanks much for the pointers. One question: I do think I run better if I run the day before, so, do you suggest I take Friday as a rest day, do a shakeup run on Saturday, and start warming up ten or fifteen minutes before racing on Sunday? *some more info: I did 5k for the first time three years ago and did…

@KenSmith108 Sorry about that. But, it's the slow working through it all that matters. I actually am a strong believer in having a good exercise machine at home! I bought a good elliptical and have to say it worked for the hefty money I paid for it. It is just amazing how much easier having a good machine at hime make…

Thanks, J. I did eat a hefty steak earlier, so, the protein will probably be breaking down throughout the night. But I have not had low sugars before, not like this.

@skippygirlsmom that is an awesome story. very raw! 9/1 rest day -- elliptical 9/2 4.2 miles -- wasn't that easy for some reason, but done! 9/3 rest day -- elliptical 9/4 3.17 miles -- that was probably the most difficult run since I've started seven weeks ago. @mrron2u @jburke141 @kithrobyn @Lizzym911 excellent numbers @cloudy68 excellent. You are bringing your numbers down, that's excellent. I think it will get to the 110s and then 100s and then 90s no doubt: diet and working out are the best secrets :) 106 today

Question to everybody: do you know of/watched a video on good form of running that you liked? I would love to see some to work on my own form. I know there are a lot on the internet, but since I trust so many of you strong runners I thought to ask! Everybody is doing awesome. @dawniemate This is how I deal with these…

116 (but a really bad, so busy, day that included gorging on so many unhealthy things: lots of pizza, followed by unstoppable search for sweet snacks around the house). Ugh. Am glad that day is gone and a new one is here :)
