When to stop medications
I have been using CGM (Libre 2 week). I lost 25 pounds (in six months) and hopefully on my way to loose another 10. My glucose readings dropped (in a way in a sudden) in the last three weeks. my night and fasting readings are between 70-100. It's almost like my body was trying to figure out the new weight for a while? In…

Could a bad carb day affect one's sugar levels for days after?

Disappointing A1C results, any words of wisdom?
I managed to bring my A1c down from 8.4 in May to 6.7 (avg 146) in August. Yesterday it came out at 6.7, the same as last time. My doctor of course thinks that's excellent because my improvement was sustained. But I don't like it. I was disappointed and surprised. My daily BG readings have been consistently lower (at about…

Self regulating with Metformin?
All: my blood sugar tonight, even after dinner (not much carbs in it) was low, like 77. I take 4 metformin every night. Should I take them tonight when my sugar is already low? I am not sure what this indicates, but the question is whether taking my pills will decrease my sugar even more.

How many times do you test BS?
Hi, all, When I was first diagnosed in 2012 I tested so many times a day, out of anxiety I think, but also in order to get a handle on how my body reacts to food, exercise, etc. But now, three years later, I test once, if at all. I assume I know better my body. How many times do you test and is there a reason to still test…

Working out too much, is there such a thing?
I have been training daily for the past 42 days. I started with spending an average of 300 calories and now I spend about 650 calories on average--an hour and fifteen minutes. Is this too much? How many inches to how many pounds

How accurate is BMI measurement?
I am not sure I trust BMI assumptions. I am 6' 8.75" and my weight should be less than 164 pounds to be healthy (according to BMI calculators). I find that to be extreme. Whenever I went below 170, I definitely looked sickly. People around me of all shades would say that. Now I am trying to lose weight (currently 201 down…
