How consistent should my weight be in the AM

I have been weighing myself in the morning. I went down to 201 pounds last Wednesday, but in the last couple of days I have been above that, about 203. I have been following a very strict diet and exercise regimen. So? Exercise experts, help :) I don't really know the specifics of dieting (this is my first time) and so I am not sure if this is a normal body behavior or if I need to change somethings.

Thanks--Sam

It is normal to fluctuate a few pounds every day and even throughout the day. I will tell you this... If I even come close to the 2500mg that this website tracks for me... I easily gain 2-3 pounds of weight just from the extra sodium. You can adjust your diary to track sodium because that might be the extra "weight" you are seeing right now.

You are awesome. I think this is what it is. I had on average about 1800 sodium extra in the last three days. Wow, that was a quick response in my body. hmm. Thanks. And, by the way, I love the Greek Islands. Memories of life past!

Thanks though, really, that's probably it.

I so agree. And it gets worse with the heat and because of hormone fluctuations. That's why lots of people tell you to weigh yourself just once a week or so (I don't, but I DO ignore ups and downs). I can easily go up and down 5 pounds in a day. I don't record a new weight until I get it two days in a row.
