Going to make these with crab for friends and crabless for me. Cannot wait to try!

I am fortunate enough I can drive home for lunch (provided I'm not too busy) and I eat my full lunch there, or bring it to work with me. I generally bring a snack so around 2:30-3-ish I am not hungry. I work out after work so the snack is important so I am not on an empty stomach. I am a bored eater as well so I make sure…

A 30 minute 5k is amazing! Great job :)

I couldn't get past the cheesiness of Dr. Who and haven't made it past the first episode of Firefly.
-
Spot on. PBF comics are golden.

This is just what I needed to read today. I am on W9D1 and my first 5k is Nov 10th. I haven't made it past running 2.5 miles yet, but I can do that without stopping which is a huge victory for me despite of my time. After this week I am going to push for the 3.1 miles and try not to focus so much on my time.

Added :) And I know what it is like to re-start and have to do it all over. I am on W9D1 and I never thought I'd get this far. I have blew my expectations out of the water and I am sure you will do the same!

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

How could I forget about Lloyd Dobler?! Great choice ^_^

Sleigh Bells- Never say die

Be still my heart! I love me some Apollo, but if I had to go with anyone from BSG it would be Chief, hands down. He might not be the most attractive...but his character gets to me and he is overall bad *kitten*.

I'm Andi, 29 and I am a huge RPG/boardgame/Magic the Gathering player. Mostly old World of Darkness games, Shadowrun and Scion. Also play tested some games including Mutants and Masterminds. I play a lot of Arkham Horror (HUGE H.P Lovecraft fan), MTG and Ascension. I have never LARPed and don't plan on it :p But I am nerdy…

Welcome to MFP. I noticed having people cheer you on is great motivation and it is great to bounce ideas, recipes and just rant :)

Good technique to avoid those hills and finish your runs! I didn't start running up the hills until W7D1 and I am glad I did. I can now run the full course where I run and it is also where I will be running my first 5k next month. Keep up the great work!

In all honestly the place spooked the hell out of me, but only because it looks just like the kind of place people get killed in movies :p A lot of people, including my friend who is also an atheist, have said that they have seen/felt things they cannot explain. After I was in there I saw the beauty of the old building and…

Haha, your breathing and everything will improve. I was sure my first couple of weeks someone would find me passed out on the sidewalk, but I've made it to W8D2 without that happening. Keep up the good work!

Two of my favorite things! Great idea that I am going to try...tomorrow!

I get up once an hour and go walking around, even for just 5 minutes or to the bathroom. We had a yoga instructor come in and show us some work appropriate yoga and that has helped as well.

I went to Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY. It is an old TB hospital and billed as one of the most haunted places in America. I was begging for something, anything, to happen...but nothing did. People around me were swearing up and down that they were being touched by a ghost or could feel something, but there…

My friend thought it was a great idea to send in an info request to have some Mormon's come speak to you, but he put down my address. I still haven't forgave him for that!

I'm in! This is my first MYA challenge. I am going for 50.
-
Great job! After I complete my 5k in November I hope I can ready myself to run further and maybe do a half at some point as well. Keep up the great work.

Any summer solstice birthdays? June 21st here.

I know what I'm making next weekend! Sounds so goooodddddd.

Running for 22 minutes non-stop on Couch to 5k.
-
Congrats! It is a great feeling to run that much and not stop. Today I am doing W6D3 and it's 22 minutes and I never thought I'd say in my life I was looking forward to running 22 minutes, ever! Keep up the great work :)

I restarted in July after only doing 3 weeks last year. So I knew I'd have to start from scratch. Tomorrow I'll be on W6D2 and there is no going back now. I found that what motivated me was signing up for a 5k so that way you have a goal to look forward to at the end. Best of luck to you two!

Great job! I am starting week 6 tonight and I still cannot believe that I ran 20 minutes straight. That blows my mind! Best of luck and you will love the results to come :)

Looks like I am the only Colts fan to represent here! Been a faithful fan since I remember watching my first game as a kid in Indiana in the early 90's. Colts for life!
