  • I'd love to add some people for motivation! Andilynn83
  • Thanks for the group invite. I started about 3 weeks ago with no sugar and to be honest I don't even miss it at this point. I've had a huge sweet tooth over the years and going with no sugar is a great way of curbing it. Good luck everyone!
  • I am currently in week 3 of my 'sugar' detox. I did did this earlier in the year and was very successful. You can totally do it!
  • If I kinda know what I am going to eat I will do my best to pre-log my food so that way I will not be tempted to stray. I find that if I have it recorded it is a good way to hold myself accountable.

  • Me, me, me! My birthday is June 21st and this would be a great motivator by far :)
  • Great suggestions! Cannot wait to try some, or if not all of them. As an almost life long vegetarian I have neglected to put kale into my diet until now. I regret that, but now I have so many yummy things to try!
  • Kale, pizza and goat cheese sounds like a winning recipe to me! Thanks for the suggestion.
  • Go the Carrie Underwood route on his truck. Make sure you smash everything up real good. This will now give you some great ammo to write a country song of your own. And if you read it in Cosmo, you know it has to be right :noway:
  • I love when the athletes thank God, but how many thank God for losing?! Maybe he wanted them to lose so they will train harder, be stronger and live up to their potential!
  • My really fit, older coworker complimented me today by saying how good I look in my jeans! I'll take that compliment any day!
  • @ Miratlhed, I totally understand where you are coming from! My nephew was diagnosed with brain cancer last year and it was A MIRACLE FROM GOD that he was healed, but my question is why isn’t God performing miracles to prevent cancer in children, but he can perform the miracle to heal it? Thankfully he recovered. Half of…
  • I am hoping to be up to a 6 mile run, already at 4!
  • I done my first 5k in November and laid off the running until about a month ago. I am picking back up with the 5k to 10k Run Double app and so far, so good. I will be starting w2d1 tomorrow. I noticed my endurance is still there, but at the time allotted for the app I am only at a little over 3 miles. Good luck!
  • OP, you are not alone in your love for Sherlock! I think this is by far my favorite adaptation, and doesn't hurt that Benedict is uhhmazing in every way possible
  • Hey OP I'm excited with you. Their music brings back some good memories of college and they are fun to listen to. Not to mention Patrick Stump is super frickin' talented (check out some of his solo youtube videos.)
  • When I go camping I take some raw cabbage, a little bit of butter, top it with a little salt, some pepper and garlic and onions. Wrap it up in foil and cook it over the fire. For a kitchen translation you could use evvo instead of butter (or whatever sub you want) and you can lightly pan fry it with those ingredients or…
  • I always end up in the weird part of Youtbue if I start watching Atheist related videos :/ Some of the suggestions are pretty far out there. Like who knew balloon fetish videos would be even closely linked to Atheist videos? I didn't and I found out the hard way.
  • I am on day 13 and I've lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist and have lost almost 1/2 inch off every body part. I haven't weighed myself, but there is a big change in my body and my friends/family are starting to notice. It is worth it and good luck to everyone who has done it, doing it or planning on it!
  • Just checked out The Friendly Atheist. Now I know what I'll be reading later tonight! I'm with soldier on this one, I haven't got into following blogs and would love to find some good ones to follow.
  • Yay! I will start day 9 tomorrow and have lost an inch off my waist. Great job on the results :)
  • I tried depriving myself of my favorite fast food meals and that didn't work, so now I allow myself a few meals a month. Penn Station and Qdoba are my favorites if I had to pick.
  • Greek yogurt, almond milk, chick peas, black beans, carrots, salsa, brown rice, bananas, peanut butter, avacados, tomatoes.
  • Indianapolis Colts ALL.THE.WAY. Second favorite team is ANYONE WHO BEATS THE PATRIOTS!
  • Congrats! Warning: 5ks can be addictive!
  • A HRM, professional grade makeup brushes, and a laptop.
  • This is pretty much my take on it as well! I really enjoy seeing all the responses and I've talked to some friends, Atheist and others who live across the country and each region has a different take on it. I did flip it on Fox News for a hot minute and saw that there is still a war on Christmas, just incase you all didn't…
  • Marc Chagall is my all time favorite and I have this one hanging in my bedroom ^_^ Went to Chicago last month and saw American Windows at the museum, several of his paintings and the four seasons mosaic downtown. I <3 him. Marc Chagall - Did a reproduction of this one in high school. And many others... but these are a few.…
  • Living in the south this has become a huge problem for me. It is just naturally assumed if you are living in the south you are a god fearing Christian. This time of year always brings out those who say Christmas is 'too politically correct' and I like to remind people the last time I checked there are several more holidays…
  • Current: Social Worker Dream job: Park Ranger
  • I do also celebrate 'Christmas', but I like the end of year celebration idea. I might take up on that! The holiday cards I am sending to family members are all secular so I'm sure they'll complain about that behind my back :p My uncle recently posted about people writing Merry XMAS and how that is offensive to him. Little…
