  • Tea has helped me ease the sweet cravings I get, especially at night. Tea hasn't made the cravings go away, but tea makes it more bearable and helps me make smarter choices when it comes to sweeties at night. I drink a lot of herbal tea. I live near this herb shop that makes amazing blends. My favorite blend is their Sweet…
  • I second PlantFusion. The vanilla powder is fabulous.
  • I weigh every day, right before I get in the shower in the morning, so about 5 minutes after I get up. I have a fitbit aria, so even in my half asleep state, it gets logged for me and I check it after I've had some tea. I try not to worry about little fluctuations. As long as the overall trend is going down, I don't worry.…
  • I have a (soon to be gone from my life) fitbit force. I'll be going back to my old fitbit ultra while I wait for the new fitbit update. Its taken me a long, long time to realize that I have to put in effort and really pay attention to what I put in my mouth. Fitbit and myfitnesspal have really helped me get my eating under…
  • I get really annoyed when my friends get annoyed at me for not eating before I track all my food. I've told them before they don't have to wait for me to start eating before they do. Believe me, I'll catch up to them.
  • I generally use Pandora or 8tracks (I've run into some streaming issues from 8tracks recently) when I'm walking or jogging. for my cool down and stretching, I like to use Modern Meditations. They have pop songs that are relaxed and instrumental. Perfect for stretching.
  • Right now, because of all the cold and snow in the north east, I'm at the gym most days. I'll cross train by cross country skiing (best whole body workout ever), snowshoeing, or downhill skiing. When the snow melts, and its warmer out (and if I'm confident enough) I'll run outside. There are some really nice trails near my…
  • I'm a 20 something and I think its super important that we have supportive people in our corners to cheer us on, help us out, and just be there and understanding. ~Lindsey
  • I'd love to join. I need a good kick in the butt to get started.
  • I slice mine in half, scoop out the seeds, bake until done then put a little maple syrup and brown sugar in the middle hollow.... sooo good and reminds me of my childhood. A comfort food for me.
  • I'm a DDD and I've had very bad luck even doubling up on sports bras. I finally went through Title Nine and got "The Last Resort". Its expensive at $60 but well worth it for me. Yes, there is a little bounce (thats just the nature of the beast, or beasts), but it is light years better than what I was using before. I'm not…
  • Dried beans, bouillon cubes, rice, frozen vegetables. Other than soaking and cooking the beans, its easy to whip together something quick and healthy. I normally buy canned broth, but I have bouillon on hand just in case.
  • Herbal tea helps me at night. I have a very sweet herbal tea that I love to have at night when I'm relaxing. It has citrus in it, but a slice of clementine or orange in it makes it extra nice. I'll also make sure that I have a good dinner. If I'm satisfied with dinner, I don't find myself snacking as much at night or…
  • Caprese salad would be good. A nice tomato, some low fat mozzarella, lots and lots of basil and however much olive oil you want. Its a salad with out being a "salad". Frittata would be good, and quiche would be good. Make them on Sunday and it'll be ready for you all week.
