I don't eat additional calories that I burn through the normal progression of my day (steps). I assume that's mostly accounted for in my daily allotment already. However, if I exercise I eat some or all of those -- especially with a 1,200 calories/day limit.

Oh yeah! Doylean reminded me of a valuable early lesson. Log *before* you eat. I went to the movies, had a small popcorn (I wanted the tub!), then logged it hours later & nearly had a stroke!! 800 calories and a tanker load of fat & carbs.

Spicy Kra Prow (Spicy!) It's basically Thai chicken stir-fry with a kick of heat, and I add a cup of broccoli florets too. :love: Sauteed fresh ground chilies, garlic, onions, bell peppers, green beans, grilled skinless chicken breast chunks, and basil. YUM!!!

I don't drink cows milk, but I use it regularly in cereal, recipes, and such. I use 1 or 2%, and usually Organic Valley. Specifically, if it's Organic Valley I buy 1%, and if it's Horizon Organic I buy 2% - it's about taste and consistency. I would eat a sensible dinner worth no more than 350 calories since you burned so many calories. Otherwise, you'll wake up starving in the morning and overeat. Good luck - and welcome to MFP!

Skinny Cow (no sugar added) ice cream sandwiches do it for me. I get the yummy chocolate outside and also the creamy yummy inside, and it's only about 160 calories. So good! :happy:

Go to Settings at the very top of the page, click on it, then click on diary, and scroll to the bottom to set privacy. I don't think there is anything wrong with going under - I just wouldn't go under 900 often.

I buy solid white (albacore) tuna in water, drain it, crumble it, and then add diced pickles and add a bit of the pickle juice for moisture. Lately, instead of making a tuna sandwich and having it with chips, I've started using the chips (cool ranch Doritos) as a scooper for the tuna (no bread). It's yum!
