Managed full body weight press ups. Never did I imagine I would be able to do them.

I eat porridge or overnight oats predominantly but have been advised to start adding protein powder to porridge

I have found the monthly virtual challenges to be really useful for keeping myself motivated. I tend to do Race at Your Pace as the medal changes monthly but the first one that I did was with run through. Run through was definitely more personal, with a lovely hand written card and goody bag that came along with the medal.…

My 2021 goals are:* Focus on mental wellbeing and reducing anxiety * Run a marathon * Read more - aim for 12 books this year * Take up swimming lessons when the pools reopen

Hi :) I have been running off and on for years. Really planning on upping the ante next year though and am hoping to complete my first marathon (started training 2 weeks ago). Did my first half marathon last year and at that point decided that I didn't want to do anything longer than that but then this year something…

Recently I have been running in the rain, but that has been because I have been motivated to complete my 100 mile month challenge. That said, I do have limits. I ran in the rain today but Saturday is my next run day and the forecast is 100% for heavy rain and strong winds so I am planning on going to the gym (only because…

I take warbutons thin bagels to work a lot. I like having them with salmon and philadelphia or chicken and mayo or chicken and pesto. Pasta salad with chicken, peppers and pesto is also nice. I also like taking baked potatoes. Another go to option is cous cous (I like the Indian flavoured one) with pomegranite and either…

Katsu curry. We have a company called spice entice that sells the spices, you just need to get the other bits. Rather than coating the chicken and having it crispy though I just put everything in the slow cooker and it was lovely. Took it into work to eat and colleagues were jealous :)

Ran the virtual Edinburgh half marathon last month and got a personal best time. Ended up resting my legs a bit much after it and no longer at half marathon distance ready, but know I can get back there in not too long

My mini goal is to run 100 miles this month

I go to the scales at the chemist once a week and sometimes hop on my ones at home out of curiosity.

I am currently 8 stone 11 and would like to be below 8 stone 5 by halloween. Have 2 half marathons before that too which I will be proud to complete.

What works for me is still weighing myself once a week so I can keep myself in check

I have had a charge 2 for about a year too. Strap broke maybe about a month ago. Have to say that I did expect it to last longer.

Running a hilly 10k race yesterday in less than an hour and actually enjoying it. Really made me realise how far I have come this year :)

I have had dodgy knees for years (tends to be when I build up running distances). Had to go to the doctor at one point as it was so bad. He suggested doing weights to help it. Felt totally clueless at the time as to what moves I should be doing. I am thinking about booking a session with a personal trainer to see if they…

If I don't weigh regularly things tend to go wrong (speaking as a serial yo yo dieter). Personally I feel that it helps me to be accountable. I try and only do it once a week (I go into boots to get weighed so i can keep the little weight slip from the machine).

I notice a huge difference (for the better) when I eat overnight oats for breakfast before going for a run compared to other things like egg and toast for breakfast. Feel like I have so much more energy (who knows if this is psychological or not). I make mine by adding 27g of oats to one pot of yogurt and 80g of frozen…

A big smile and nice arms :)

I lost over 3 stone by following Scottish Slimmers several years ago. Its a great plan and I would totally recommend it. Tried weight watchers in the past but wasn't a fan. A lot of girls at my work are following slimming world and are loosing weight.

Ooh, I fancy trying this but without the cinammon. I had overnight oats this morning. Mixed a vanilla yogurt with porridge oats and frozen raspberries last night and then it was delicious this morning.

I did the NHS couch to 5k and would definitely recommend it
