I have lost and gained probably 1000 pounds over the years. I have done diet after diet. Joined 5 different gyms and still I weigh too much. I'm tired of being fat, I'm sick of being called big guy. I haven't been a good friend on here and have decided It's time to finish this journey I began and live the life I know I…

You've made great points as to why you should go, give it a try and find something there that you enjoy a lot and stick to that. I personally love the free weights and spend time with them each time. That way I can focus on one muscle or group of muscles. I wish you the best of luck.

I like to add cheese, sauces, seasonings, I bake mine, roast it, sometimes only microwave. I stir-fry them sometimes adding a little plum sauce or lemon and butter. If I have leftover I bag them and freeze them once I have a few bags I take them out thaw then make soup from them. Jalapeno Poppers are great you can do the…

I mix a bit of butter, crushed garlic and fresh black pepper then roast on grill or in oven.

the real only calorie free thing is WATER...yep everything else has some form of calories.

I have to say that if this really does exist I won't be trying it. Why not just go on this 800 calorie liquid diet? You know if a person wants that food bad enough they will find a way to have it.

One thing about weight loss we can't do anything about what we have eaten. We can only focus on what we WILL be eating. Sure we want to burn calories and reduce the size of our fat cells. You just have to learn what you've done wrong and make it right. Good luck and keep your head up.

Now that is funny right there...holy tumbleweeds...

For everyone of those bad things there is something good in response. My worry is what am I going to look like in the end. Will I like it or not and will I recognize myself. I have to say the one thing that I noticed is I don't stay toasty in the winter like I used too.

Hell if all we got was three strikes I'd had been out many years ago. Take it from a person that spent most of the last 30 years FAT...you can do it. You now know what you're weakness is. Cheat DAYS!!!! Don't let them in, don't beat yourself up if you're over on a day but don't do the cheat day that runs into weeks. No…

I average 12 to 14 glasses a day and only pee every other hour or so. At first I could darn near drink in the bathroom but my body adapted. Good luck...

You sit down in the recliner and your belly doubles as your food tray, not only my plate but my soda too.. You walk into a buffet and everyone rushes to get in front of you. You sit down in a chair wondering if it is going to hold you.

Wow what a great job you've done...congrats...so proud of you.

Good for you knowing what you want to do. I didn't battle any family members on the whole weight loss surgery thing I fought myself. Should I or shouldn't I...which is quicker. which is longer lasting, which is cheaper...so on and so forth. I finally decided I knew I needed to change my habits one way or the other. If I…

I have been known to walk around in a jacket all winter long, with my 82 pounds off my butt is freezing this year. I'm wearing sweat shirts, long johns, and a winter coat to keep warm. So I believe it's the weight loss.

That was your NSV angel...sent to lift your day

Our weight loss journey takes time and dedication, we didn't gain a ton of weight in a short period of time yet we expect it to fall off so quickly. Many years ago I went on the Cambridge Diet and lost 80 pounds in two months, I looked great but felt like crap. I then gained back 100 when I went off that diet. I've tried…

Our weight loss journey is so very hard, one that takes a lot out of us. You have to WANT to change your eating habits, you have to make yourself not eat that item. I had a serious addiction to Reese's I gave them up 4 years ago. I have a serious love to pasta, and have very, very little now. I know that I shouldn't have…

I like to steam mine for about 6 or 7 minutes..let them cool, then roll them in egg whites or egg beaters, and a mixture of club crackers(crushed), Parmesan cheese, oregano and pepper...then bake them till tender....

I know it seems impossible right now, it's going to take work to get yourself retrained to other items in place of the sweets. I started by keeping apples and pears available, with some peanut butter or caramel available. I've worked down to only the straight fruits. You will have to train yourself to wanting something…

That is too funny...so many guys and some girls become *kitten* and don't know what they had. Good for you, for making yourself even Hotter!!!

I'm a huge fan of NSV's and have listed mine on my page. It's great reading others as well. Good luck and great job!!!
