Ok, I have been at this plateau between 160-161 for almost a month. This is ridiculous. New plan: since I have been doing C25K in the evenings, in the mornings I will do my pushups, planks, crunches, etc. Then I will add a 30 minute uphill walk to the treadmill. BOOORING but I'm desperate. I HATE THIS SMOKE. I can't do…

1. What Week/Day are you on? Did W6D1 last night 2. How do you feel? Great! Trying to increase my speed now because I am able to talk comfortably at my current speed. 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? Just W1D1 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? I have added time to my runs a couple of times…

1. What Week/Day are you on? W5 D1 (tonight) 2. How do you feel? I'm pumped!! I had to put it off a day and I'm excited to get back into the groove. ;) 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? Just W1D1. ;) 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? Yes, I have added time, never removed time. 5. Do you…

Aaaaand back down to 160. Augh. Let's hope that next week I manage to get BELOW that number...

Awesome post! Great advice, thanks for sharing! And congrats on your progress!!

It happens! A few suggestions: Make sure you weigh in only once a week (this is super tough for me, so I usually weigh in Mondays and Thursdays, but I try to resist til Thursday). Take measurements (body fat or inches, whichever or both). You may be losing inches but not pounds, especially if you are doing new workouts. I…

Definitely get a new trainer! No trainer should berate you or question you, especially outside of the gym!!

I'm also at the last 10! It's been a b!tch trying to get below 160... I could use some motivation & support on the last 10 too!

Same here! Just learning portions and how many calories are actually in Kraft mac & cheese is enough to get me to think twice! MFP has marked my most successful weight loss attempt yet, simply because it's a concrete way to quantify my progress. =)

This thread inspired me to make a list of mini-goals! =) Hopefully it'll help give me a little push.... I would have more increments on the inches but I don't actually know what a good goal is because I've never kept track of measurements before MFP, so for now I'm shooting for "healthy". (Copied from my profile):…

Yeah, the lack of routine always does me in too... on weekends I tend to skimp on lunch and pig out on junk for dinner. =( Still hoping I can get under 160 for the first time in like 2 years by Labor Day!! That's my new, more attainable goal, haha. =P

So cool! Awesome story!

Awesome!

Gained 1 lb. >=( I ate a bunch of junk food over the weekend even though I was under my TDEE & calorie counts... Frustrating. C25K tonight, on the treadmill AGAIN. I'm going to take it much slower today even though I CAN do it faster. It's just miserable when I push myself that hard though. I'll work on speed after I get…

You've made it this far! Just take it one step at a time and refuse to compromise at each little step... for example, right now, I could eat a bowl of cereal or a peach... the choice is obvious, but if I make a wrong move it's a slippery slope down the path to giving up! Baby steps... You can do it!

1. What Week/Day are you on? W4 D2 (tonight) 2. How do you feel? Anxious! But I managed to finish W4D1 so I know I have it in me. =) 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? I had to repeat W1D1... but I haven't missed a single day since then! I can't believe I'm already on Week 4! 4. Did you add time or remove time from…

Me too! Even though my stomach is refusing to shrink (and the inches fluctuate with no real loss), my arms & thighs are definitely thinning up! =) Congrats!

To be under 160 for the first time since my wedding 2 years ago! I'm so close... I need to set up a little mini-reward system like staceyw37 suggested. Pedicures, a new piece of clothing (I never buy clothes...), etc for when I meet 5-lb marks or meet fitness goals. I think that would be fun. =)

Bump! Plain & simple advice, love it. =)

I can attest to this personally. I get up at 6:00 am every day to do C25K or walk or Zumba or yoga and I can definitely tell the difference on the days that I don't! I used to get up at 5:00 am but that didn't last long... I don't like being up before the sun, but I can rise with it no problem. ;)
-
Augh, that is disappointing!! >=( At least she LOOKS like something I could achieve, but only in her "heavy" pics. =P

I'll PM you the recipe! =)

Great story!! Thank you so much for sharing!

So encouraging!! Thanks for sharing!

That's awesome!! Keep it up!

That's so awesome!! Thanks for sharing!

I used to eat about half a box (small, not family size) of cereal with pasteurized milk daily... no wonder I had gas all the time, lol!!
-
Lost another .5 lb... 5.5 away and only 4 weeks to go! D= I'm still keeping up with C25K and my calorie count (with a few planned exceptions, lol). GO AWAY, POUNDS!
-
I try to make sure I have something good to look forward to daily that fits within my calorie goals... it makes it easier to say "no" to temptations along the way! I also don't count on Sundays (and make sure to keep tabs in my head that I'm still being moderate and not just pigging out), and I let myself go over without…

That's amazing!! You look totally different! Beautiful, great job!!
