My suggestion is cut down on processed foods, and read labels if you you do choose to use them. also don't worry about sugars from fruit and veg.

I don't have a scale and don't want one. At my age I know I will never have a flat stomach, but one that I can tuck into some "Spanx" would be nice. I measure my bust, waist and hips once a week and am looking for a steady reduction. So far so good :)

I would love to give you some encouragement, but, alas I am in the same place. i go for a couple of months, faithfully eating healthy, keeping calories down and exercising, (brisk walking) and nothing moves. Then I get discouraged. I think it is an age related thing, am going to discuss with my doctor when I finally get…

Good luck, hope your family gets more supportive, my suggestion is don't overdo it, I am assuming that your doctor has advised you what to eat? A healthy diet should be good for all family members, and if you prepare the meals, then eat everything prepared, except eat smaller portions and don't make any big deal out of it.…
