I think the main benefit of hot yoga vs regular is warmer muscles are less likely to be injured. I doubt it helps more than any other exercise with weight loss. Stay hydrated!

Have you tried clicking on "Goals" in the homepage and recalculating them? MFP doesn't do it automatically, but if you go in and enter your current weight and activity level (like you did when you signed up), it will recalculate the number of calories you should be eating for you. I don't know how you intermittent fasting people can do it. I was in lab all day today and wound up going about eight hours without eating. I felt shaky. The last time I went so long my head started spinning and I nearly passed out.
