Thanks for the info! I've always wondered about regularity :blushing:

Have you recorded your measurements? Seeing the scale stay the same for extended periods would drive me NUTS and a friend encouraged me to start tracking my NSV (non-scale victories). Whenever the scale would stall at least I would still be able to give myself a pat on the back for accomplishing an NSV.

<-- New to the Group :) Hi Everyone! My name is Daisy and I just stumbled across this group and I hope that I am not too late. I recently started running again and I am so excited that I have been able to get off to a great start so far. I've been running at the local Y, so this is all treadmill running for the time being.…

I also had the Margarita Chicken with Brown Rice and Beans and it was pretty good; something like 550 calories.

This week I have cooked twice and I don't really know that it counts as cooking. I threw some chicken breasts into the crock pot and added spices and veggies; this evening I did chicken breast, tomatoes, bell pepper, zucchini, onion, garlic, parsley flakes, basil, oregano, black pepper, mushrooms and some water. I guess I…

Call me crazy, but ever since I trained for a 5k earlier this year I HAVE to get onto the treadmill whenever I go to the gym; now that I am closer to my goal weight it just doesn't seem like that daunting piece of equipment that would scare me a bit sometimes. So for now at least, my favorite is the Treadmill.

Bump :D

On my "off" days I do a bit of dancing on my Wii :)

To be honest, by focusing on my diet it helps me keep my mind on something other than the things that are really bringing me down. I come here everyday and post on my wall, keep a somewhat regular diary and try to motivate my MFP friends to cheer each other one. You CAN do this. Just focus on what this journey means to you…

I am not even going to lie, when I first started tracking again I was a little concerned; but my sugars come from the fruit I am eating. So I quickly decided that I was not going to pay much attention to that part of my daily report. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not about to give up my apples :)

Welcome to MFP! I think you are going to find everyone here to be so helpful and supportive :) I am sure you are going to do fabulous! ~Daisy

I've read and been told that we often confuse thirst for hunger. Try drinking some water (8-10 fl oz) and wait about 20-30 minutes and see if you are still just as hungry. Do you drink your 6-8 glasses of water a day?

I've been going through the same thing; last week started off really well when I went for an AM walk and trying to work out after work is just, well a pain because I find myself also making excuses. Unfortunately for me I will be going into work really early this week, but I did note that when I planned my exercise for…

I have Just Dance 2! And yes, I like to dance the pounds away as well. I also have the Wii Zumba game and it kicked my hiney today :embarassed: I am just glad that I had the sense to draw the curtains before I started otherwise someone may have called the paramedics on that seizing woman across the street!

Here Here! I think we should start a petition to have them work on this ASAP!

Hi Lisa! I know that you are going to do great  and you can always come for support and encouragement. ~Daisy

I used to weigh everyday, and then it got a little out of control because I would let the scale make or break my entire day. So I moved onto just doing it once a week. I think it all depends on your own personality, though it is important to keep in mind that weight does fluctuate from one day to the next. Good luck! ~Daisy
