i started off using 2.5lb weights and that was enough for me, even too heavy in places at the start. I am on level 3 now and use 5lb weights most of the time, and just swap to the lower weights for a few things, (like the V Fly's in level 2) as i would rather do more reps and keep up with Jillian and the girls than lift…

It's hard to back off when you are so into it, but the longer we're here the easier it will get. I am the same, I'm getting a bit boring, going to try and cut down being on here, especially when I should be working instead!

I've been on 1200 for a few months now and don't find it hard to stick to anymore ( although th first two weeks were awful) But I feel the need to up my calories now, as im working out more, so am aiming for 1450. Haha, yes I am this kind of freaky! I've been doing push ups against the counter in the kitchen at work whilst waiting for the kettle to boil! I 'm just so pleased I can do them now, I do them everywhere! Not been caught yet.

It's been a terrible year for pumpkins, too wet. The slugs and snails have eaten all but 2 of mine, and i had 10 plants in the ground! Have seen some in Morrisons for carving, i remember from last year they don't have much flavour. Lidl is usually really good for veg in season, so you may have to just be patient.

I know i need to do more weights etc and commit more. I used to be really fit in my 20's and everything was so easy then, i guess i am adjusting to being 41 also :sad:

Calorie goal is 1200 and i'm usually under, so i agree with previous posters, that as i'm not overeating i can't really be gaining fat/weight. Have just started doing the shred and i walk quite a bit, run occasionally and netball every other week. Don't know what macro's are :huh:
