just be consistent with both the logging and the exercise, even if you can only find time to jog in place for 1/2hr. I am just getting back to this site, after letting a few pounds creep back on. It just really helps to see all the peeps on here encouraging each other along. feel free to add me as a friend.

I started riding again at 45years old, when someone asked me to do a 150mile in 2 days fundraiser. I loved it so much this May will be my 11th time doing the fundraiser, and I usually put about 2500miles or more on my bike a year. Like the saying goes "when I am on my bike I feel 17 again!!!" Glad you enjoy it so much! For…

I am going to start walking at lunch, no matter how cold it may be. I get paid for 3hrs a week of PT time and I have not been using it in a few months. We have been so busy. Then hit the gym at night for weight training!

I have a fitbit, and I love it. It syncs really well with MFP. I didn't feel the need for the One, because I don't need to track sleep or stairs. I did see they are coming out with a bracelet type soon as well. But that would not work for me, since I am a massage therapist. Between the MFP and the fitbit website, they seem…

Its fine! Sounds like you just have an introvert type of personality, not a bad thing, just something you need to learn more about, and accept who you are. I recommend a book call Introvert power. Great for helping you to have a better understanding of your personality type.

I believe Introverts are a very necessary part of society, and that we have our own power!!!! : )

I read Engine 2 diet almost 2 years ago (it is the the first book of the Forks over Knives franchise). I took the 28 day challenge and have never gone back! Not saying I have been 100% Plant strong, I have had my some weak moments, probably 90% though and I feel like a new person, I am 53years young, I am currently doing…

Mine is 3500 close to 7000 for the weekend. The first weekend of June for the last 8 years, I have cycled in a Fundraiser for MS, called the MS150. 75 miles each day. One year I did 100, the first day and 75 the second. May try that again this year.

I have the fitbit zip, and I really like it, I didn't feel the need to track stairs and sleep. I do like that it adjusts calories through out the day and syncs with my iphone and mac wirelessly. It is giving me the extra push, that I need to get these last few pounds off! And I like that it is so small and I can clip it on…

Awesome, you are being an example of what can be to others!
-
My thought is who cares! You do it for your self, not for anyone else, have enough respect for your self to not worry what others say or do. They need to get their own life. Anyway once you start looking and feeling better, you may be an inspiration to others! And someone told me one time "If you think people are paying…

read the Engine 2 diet, or watch "forks over knives" dvd , better than trying to get opinions here.

Awesome weight loss!! You look fantastic, and I am sure you feel it as well! Good job on going vegetarian! And great words of wisdom, especially for those just starting out on this journey!

Personally, I have done 3 rounds of P90X, and just today started Insanity. I am glad that I stared with P90x. Insanity is really tough, and not sure I would keep going had I not already done p90x. If you are not used to high intensity cardio, I would definitely start with P90X.
