Thanks blankiefinder! Aggelikik, if you try the 5, 7 stroke thing.. try breathing out very slowly while your head is under. I had panic feelings with that in the beginning but you soon realize you won't drown!

Tofu/ chickpeas/lentils/ there's so much protein in a vege diet. Have you not been a veggie very long? Have fun! The happy herbivore seems to be a good site.

You can get really firm tofu which is excellent for a stirfry. The children say it's like chicken !!! (but they prefer chicken!).

Gosh! There are so many!!! Potimarron soup/ chickpeas fried in a little oil and loads of spices/ chopped chicory with chopped pears, walnuts and a good vinigrette (some strong blue cheese is excellent with this if you're not vegan)/baked sweet potatoes, pumpkin curry. I don't know why I ever bothered with meat!

You don't even see meat as food anymore, all you see is a dead animal on a plate. This is exactly how I feel.

I do a mini workout every morning with three kilo weights and swim hard, so I ache, three times a week. I dance the night away on Saturday nights and walk the dog at 'break a sweat' pace every day.

Any veggies (I use broccoli, cauli; peas beans) boiled until softish then add some coconut cream (you can get low fat) and a couple of tablespoons of any spicy marinade. Toss together and serve with rice.
