Hello Moms! My third child is three. Alas, I am down to my last ten pounds. I went up to 170 so it took me quite a while to learn new habits and focus on the weight loss. Would love to be friends!

I tried it but my appetite was uncontrollable. I also love to eat so I felt too deprived. Scheduled meals have given me better results personally. I wish I had the success that others have had with it. I might try it again for maintenance later.

Yup. Same here! I'm like, "yay! I lost! Guess I can afford to have this .... Name a treat......!!!!" Then goodbye progress.

The best one is water. And lots of t! I threw out all the pills and stuff I had accumulated after I started losing weight by counting the calorie in real food.

I find blue zone research fascinating. I believe light agricultural work that keeps the body moving all the time is key. Like how someone mentioned law maintenance. Yes the sun, movement, and desire to live are part of it .

Sugary foods I can't stop eating, so I avoid except for major holidays. They also fire up my appetite so it makes me most irritable to eat them even in moderation. I try to avoid.

Popcorn rules! I agree. I can't wait to have some tonight.

Hi! I'm in the same boat. I like to make a pan of chicken breasts and cut up a ton of portioned veggies and roast them. I make a big batch and have ready to grab in fridge. Then I eat that for a few days. I like it so I don't mind some repetition.

Thank goodness for this thread. All l need to do is get outta This hot dog shop with my kids without going over. I already packed and ate my dinner.

Soak eggplant in salt water. Bake in oven. Cover with marinara sauce and Parmesan. Return to oven until bubbly. If you like pizza and eggplant you will love this! It's low calorie so it fits in better than pizza but it tastes just like it. No crust tho. More of a pizza casserole.

Feed your body on a consistent schedule. That way you will know that food is coming soon and never get so hungry hat your appetite is out of control. Protein, and tons of vegetables to fill you up. Also remember that habits take a while to break . Replacing with new habits is also good!

Elliptical, great for the butt and arms. Running: awesome for endurance and all over workout. I love my elliptical!

Switching my main size portions to vegetables and drinking water has made me feel fuller.

I love apple cider vinegar. It has probiotics and for me it does slow down my appetite a bit.

When I have family events, I don't want to miss out. I enjoy the food and the wine But I attempt to log it all. It's hard to stop sometimes, but satisfying to have a goal day afterward. It slows my progress for the week but to me it's worth it for the long run.

Decided to drive home and eat instead of going out to dinner at a food court!

Yea tea! I make a pot of Kava at night with stevia and a splash of almond milk and drink the entire thing. Also, I use a large blender bottle cup for my water. I see it more as a supplement that way. What could be better than something free that scientifically helps weight loss! A magic trick: drink an enormous glass of…

Yum! Cherries and blueberries! I love how this ties everything together. Food, exercise, and creativity. What could be better!

Jennybearly, that's so cool about measuring the calories from the compost turning! Awesome! Rileyes, thanks for the reminder on proper form. Easy to forget that heavy lifting while having a blast Is still heavy lifting. 50 pound sacks for fun? That's admirable!

It went great. We set out to dig three spots and did five. Two out of three kids got involved. Tomorrow we will place the trees and get them watered.

Capaul, hope it warms up soon there! We are also hoping to put a lawn in this summer... So excited to then do flower beds! Cindy, that's such a cool idea! We are going to try that. I am dreaming of the day when someday my grandkids will pick peaches. And it was a workout for sure! Cassidy, genius! That would be so amazing.…

Do a workout DVD and stay under goal.

Just wait it out! Restaurant food is salty, you were Weighing water.

Sorry you are feeling down. I also get exremely discouraged by the wickedness of the scale and the difficulty of living in a calorie deficit. Great job making it through the week. Just keep going! Never surrender the ship no matter what happens. If you fall get up again. All your efforts will surprise you one day with…

Straight balsamic. Adds no calories and tasty!

I'm 40. I could not lose weight without this app and the calorie counter. I tried for three years. I got strict with my intake and invested the time toward logging food and started to see slow and steady results. At times I'm hungry but the key for me was veggies and water.

Hi! I'm 5'2" with a goal of 110. I'm on my way with 10 pounds to go! I weighed 160 after my third child who is now three. Now is my time to kick it into high gear and take care of me. I've been on 1200 for about two months and lost 7 lbs. I only record exercise calories if I'm starving and go over on calories. It's…

I'm in the same boat! I walked today for 30 minutes. I was trying for 40 but just too tired. Maybe we should cut ourselves some slack and wait until our energy returns. Hope you feel better soon! Walking was exhausting. Not even sure it was a good idea after being so sick.

I recently went out to eat. I looked up the menu and nutrition info beforehand and made it fit by eating a small lunch. I had to give away the baked potato and put some of the food in a Togo box, but I did get a glass of white wine:) it was super fun!
