  • Idea: use one slice of bacon and fry first, then use the bacon grease to cook the cauliflower and egg! Skip the cheese that time. Thanks for posting, trying tomorrow!
  • Don't worry about it. One time I lost two pounds a few days later after eating a bunch of extra food. I think sometimes our bodies just take over and give themselves the food they want! It will give you renewed motivation for today...
  • Stay within my calorie goal. Drink plenty of water.
  • Rainbow chard! Pre washed spinach and mixed greens. Boston lettuce for a special fluffy salad. Strawberries are a lot of yum for a small calorie Footprint. Mushrooms! Snow peas!

  • How about a tortilla with Parmesan and grilled veggies? I use coconut oil pan spray to sautee the veggies then brown the tortilla. Add a smattering of cheese and fold it over. You can cut into triangles to make a quesadilla. Salsa and mixed greens make it a mini meal! Not very many calories and ready in 3 minutes.
  • I am drinking some tonight. On wine days I skip fruit or carbs to make room. Gotta live, having wine and sashimi for a night out!
  • Got hot tea with Splenda instead of a latte. Also packed workout clothes on a weekend trip.
  • Hi there I have a sole medium sized elliptical. It is very pleasant to use and suits my needs well. They have a nice product but I had to assemble it myself. It took me about 6 hrs. It's also extremely heavy and cumbersome. I love having it, the idea that I can do cardio and Dumbbells at home gives me so much joy! Only bad…
  • Hi all! I am also 5'2". I began mfp after having my third child, at 145. I am now 123 three years later. I've been really strict for about a month and lost 4 pounds. My goal is 110 but it has been a very slow and continuous process. Best wishes with all your goals!
  • Stevia is great! They have drops or a powdered kind. It's great. No calories, no glycemic, and it's natural.
  • Anyone mentioned beans yet? Beans and rice. Yes and oatmeal and popcorn by the kernel. Bulk lentils.
  • Oh yeah, top with Parmesan and add chicken or sausage if u have the calories for it!
  • Beans N greens Get a skillet and put some olive oil in it, a few tablespoons. Chop up a few coves of garlic and brown. Add a can of cannellini beans or two. Simmer 10-15 mins. Smash a fresh tomato by hand into mixture, add spices like basil of desired. Chop up spinach or any greens in hand and throw into skillet. Simmer…
  • Thanks for the good vibes! You are amazing too! Have a great day everyone. I hope all your dreams and wishes come true!
  • I work 12's. If I kno I'm doing three in a row I prep my work food all at once and eat the same thing for three days. I eat an egg and veggies for breakfast. Then I eat every four hours at work. I a meat, carb and veggie for dinner, oatmeal and fruit for brunch, and a yogurt sundae in between. I usually have 200 calories…
  • I use acv to help me regain control if I start an emotional eating binge. A big glass of water with a few tablespoons of acv snaps it immediately.
  • So happy for you! Great job !
  • You can do this, it takes persistence. Your body is amazing and you made a new life! You rock! Cut yourself some slack and know that after time you can make a big difference. I had three and I work on this too. Pilates is the best thing I've found. Best wishes and good vibes to you! I can relate to feeling different about…
  • Gained weight from it. And it made my hair shed heavily. All the reviews are fake.
  • I do this too. It helps with the shopping list and prep plans. Also I work 3 12hour shifts in a row so I pack almost everything that will be consumed in advance.
  • I will stick to my calorie allowance, I won't beat myself up for celebrating last weekend. Instead I will remember my ability to learn and buy a food scale.
  • I'm Hi! I'm a nurse too, nights are hard! There's always so much junk food at work so I pack in advance. Two snacks and two meals for a twelve. Also, a BIG thermos of black tea with stevia and soy milk helps because it's cold at night and satisfies the sweet tooth. I sip on that while charting. Berries, peppers, and oranges…
  • Thanks for your post. You helped me through a similar event. Your wisdom got me back on track instead of giving up, you rock! Thanks!
  • Hi! I am 5'2" too! I went from 145 to 125 but it took me two years. That was done just through exercise and trying to limit sugar. Now I am getting serious about the last ten pounds and man I cannot make the scale budge. I am getting back on here to count calories hoping that if I am strict for a while I will finally break…
  • I'm not sure if this is ideal, but I mix the weights in. I do twenty minutes of cardio followed by a set of 3 barbell exercises. Then 10 minutes of cardio and weights again, and repeat. It takes just over an hour and I don't get bored. However, I am not lifting any really heavy weights yet. It works great for keeping a…
  • Ground venison makes amazing baked meatballs. Mix a pound of meat with two whole eggs, two pieces of garlic (minced), parsley, bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese. Roll into balls and bake on a cookie sheet. VOila! you can use them in soup or in other ways.
