Hi everyone! Yorkshire lass living in Surrey, here! I've been kicking around on MFP consistently since March 2016. Happy to cheerlead and encourage people, especially on the more challenging days! You're welcome to add me if you like.

I've read each of the posts on this thread. I'm sending so much love to each of you going through challenges right now. My heart goes out to you and those concerned in each situation. 2020 started with my niece's funeral. I live a long way from my sister (my niece's mum) and the rest of my family, and as a result of world…

Hi there. I used to struggle a lot with emotional eating. I had forgotten I was a member of this group and actually came on to pop into another group when I saw this thread subject. Anyway, if you want to add me for support on this (or tag me in this thread), feel free to do so. I log all my meals daily so am on MFP…

Hi there, welcome back! I've been active on here for a few years now. Been maintaining for the last 2+. Feel free to add me for active support. You can do it!

I'm 5ft 2". Personally, I think every 1lb lighter makes all the difference when there's less room to carry it about your person! It took a long time but I achieved my goal (45lbs later) and am in 'maintenance' now. You're welcome to add me if you like, as I am active and supportive on MFP, but I understand if you're…

Hey Celia. We've all felt stuck before so rest assured it's normal. You can achieve your goals though! I'm on MFP at least 3 times a day so feel free to add me if you're looking for support.

Welcome! Everyone starts somewhere. You can do this!

You're all welcome to add me if you want someone who actively uses MFP to cheer you on.

And this is January 2020. Terrible lighting!

Left is before my physical slimming journey started in summer 2015. Mentally I was already setting the groundwork with self-compassion and self-acceptance. Right is towards the end of 2019.

Hey there! Feel free to add me. I have been consistently using MFP since March 2016 and have been 'at maintenance' for over 2 years now. If you post a status update asking for support and I see it, I respond. Community spirit is important to me! Same goes for anyone else needing genuine MFP buddies. (Take note, anyone…

The first step is awareness. Now you're tracking exactly the what you're putting in your body, you're aware and therefore have the power to change. You can do this! I used to be a serial emotional eater. I learnt to stop feeding the emotional hunger with physical food and started to nourish my emotional needs instead.

Hi. How are your symptoms now? My sister has Grave's Disease. Sending you a friend request!

Hi! I replied to this thread this morning but my message has disappeared! Already sent you a friend request.

Hey, that's me!

You can do this! The first step is awareness. You already know some of the habits you need to change so that's a good start. Sending you a friend request as I'm very active on MFP.
-
I have sent you a friend request as it's tumbleweed town here at the moment! 😂

Welcome!

There were only two of us posting here by the end so I'm not sure how much interest there is on this particular thread now. Anyone up for it?!

Please be kind to yourself, you've had a rough ride! Well done on taking the first step. You can do this. ❤️

You can recover mentally and it doesn't need to be after losing weight. I actually found it easier to slim down after working on my inner stuff. You can do it!

Hello and welcome! Hope you're recovering well. You can do this.
