My wife made a cold "salad" that was really good. Quinoa, cucumber, tomato, mint leaves, goat cheese and cubed chicken breast with a balsamic drizzle.

It's tough but you can do it. I had to cut weight for a fight about 6 years ago when I was competing. I did the cutting mostly on my own without someone holding my hand through it. Okay, I read the whole thread... can someone please post the recipe for the bacon wrapped Snickers? How do you cook the bacon without ruining the structural integrity of the Snickers bar? Should I roll the bar in batter first then wrap the bacon? HELP!!

Just worry about the whole day. I hit nearly all of macros in my evening meal. The effect of meal timing will likely be negligible.

I wouldn't sweat the sodium in a pickle. Just drink more water. Your lunch as a whole sounds good. I wouldn't worry too much about individual meals. Just keep an eye on your calories for the day/week and ensure your meals fit into your macros. Good luck!

I disagree with the majority of this post. Meal timing impact is very minimal. Eating clean is also subjective. Eat a deficit and hit your macros. You can reasonably lose 10 pounds between now and then in a sustainable way. You can then continue on the journey and keep watching the pounds tick away. Good luck and have fun…

Thanks for the tips everyone. I forgot to add that my wife is doing the same 10k for her company so I need to at least beat her time or else I will never hear the end of it. Also, she runs A LOT. Today is day 1 of my new running routine! Mine are the 20V3 Cross training shoes.
