  • Yes.Spreading out your split is a great idea to give your body really enough rest. I have a 3 day split following the push/pull method: 1 chest/triceps/shoulders(partly) ->push-movements like bench press, shoulder press and triceps kickback 2 legs/abs/butt 3back/biceps/shoulders(partly) -> pull-movements like deadlifts,…
  • Oh.Perhaps swimming would be good, too.Burns a lot of calories while building up muscle..
  • Try to up your calorie intake gradually, like 100 or 200 calories more every one or two weeks. That may help to prevent gaining back most of what you've lost. You will by no boubt gain back some, but just like the others said, you'll probably lose it again once your metabolism has adjusted. The adjusting might take some…
  • Me too! I'm conatsntly hungry, tired and craving for carbs! I've recently read an article that says it could be a lack of vitamin b. I can't seem to find it, but this one is pointing in the same direction: http://www.drbriffa.com/2012/10/11/vitamin-d-found-to-promote-fat-loss-and-muscle-gain-in-women/
  • I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you or so. I just got it wrong.:blushing:
  • I think it's great how confident you are. There is nothing more sexy than a confident woman. But it sounds like you're saying that skinny women aren't beautiful. I'm tired of the whole 'a real woman has curves'- dabate. I think every woman whether she is naturally thin or rather big is beautiful - most of us just need to…
  • ME!!!! I followed you!:D
  • Hey Michaela! Wilkommen!
  • I'm 23, trying to get fitter and feel more comfortable in my own skin. Feel free to add me. :)
  • I'm 167cm (5'5) and about 60kg (132),so my BMI is 21.5.. My main aim is to get fitter and 'tone up' so I'm only trying to lose a few kilos. Still I'm struggeling at it. It's kind of frustrating when everybody who has more to lose seems to get rid of a couple of pounds every week while my scale hardly ever budges (if it…
  • If I could move anywhere I'd love to go from Germany (I currently live in a rather rural area) to a really big city like New York, Tokyo or Singapur for a while. After that I'd like to live in Canada or Skandinavia..<3
  • ...Write a 20 page essay comparing Avatar and Pocahontas for uni. But ...Meh...!
  • I feel so sorry for everyone here who has been hurt by all those meanness. And I am proud of you for bearing it, especially those of you who could use it as a motivator and/or forgive it. I have never been generous or noble enough to do so, I only keep disliking people in general and avoid them more and more with every…
  • Sounds like me.I don't seem to get along with most girls. Whenever I see a girl that i think is prettier than me I think "Damn. I would like to look like her", but i'm not not really jealous then. I don't talk to them or try to befriend them because I'm rather shy in such situations. I might keep watching them for a moment…
  • FITOCRACY!!
  • I absolutely know that feeling!I had 1200 kcal a day for quite a long time without losing any weight.I slowely upped it to 1400,then 1600 and know to 1800.I still didn't lose anything,so I guess I must be doing something wrong.Did you lose weight?Did you up your calorie intake slowely or all at once? Anyways even although…
  • Interesting!I'm supposed to be from Myamar. :D Thanks for sharing!
  • I like to have more female friends on MFP because their goals (and problems) are often similar to mine.I find it more inspireing when I see one of them reach (or solve) them. Also men are way easier to impress. If a girl props or compliments me it means more to me because in most cases I had to work quite hard to achieve it.
  • YAY! I love chest hair.It makes a muscular chest look even manlier. (Nothing against men who don't have a hairy chest. For me it's just an extra goodie, like sprinkles on an ice cream.) But I really dislike hair on the back, tbh.
  • How about eating calorie denser food? Like avocados, peanut butter or nuts in general? They help to 'fill up' gaps of too huge caloric deficits and have lots of healthy benefits (vitamins, etc).
  • Freshman fifteen. Many hours spent sitting on my butt, stuffing junk food and sweets into my mouth while studying. Too many nights spent partying and drinking beer instead of sleeping.. Shame on me.
  • That was quick!

  • I'm from Germany. I'd say if you want a cake go for Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. I don't know anybody who doesn't like it.
  • I am 167cm tall and currently weigh 61kg. I calculated that my my caloric intake should be 1650kcal a day acording to my tdee minus 20% to lose weight. So I figured that I should eat 122g of protein (equals 488kcal) and at least 27.45g of fat (equals 247kcal) every day. This means I have 815kcal left to fill up. Like I…
  • I just finished Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto.I really liked it because it was different from everything I've ever read before.
  • I never track my coffee or my tea because I don't add sugar or milk to it. Same goes with things like garlic, basil and other herbs - I saw quite a lot of people track them.
  • Hey! I'm a 23 year old student trying to out balance all those hours spent sitting on my *kitten* at uni. I'd love to have some supporting friends on here,so feel free to add me! :D
  • I know that feel! I don't only crave sweets, but tend to stuff every food I find into my mouth. Chewing gums help a lot. And drinking loads of water and coffee. I also allow myself to take small regular breaks every two hours or whenever my brain feels squished. If it's really bad I do some calisthenics or go run for half…
