  • I cut sugar from my coffee a few months ago. After a few days, you don't even miss it. I drink my coffe with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and cinnamon.....yum!
  • Granted, I am not a scientist, nutritionist, doctor, or personal trainer, but common sense would tell me this (I have no studies to back this up, mind you, this is just my personal opinion): soda is crappy stuff, so I personally do not drink it often, but if you feel the need to consume (on occassion) a carbonated beverage…
  • Same for me! I am 5'2"....started at 138, now am 125....my ultimate goal weight is to be under 120, but I can't seem to break the 125 barrier! I'm going to try adding some light weight-lifting a few times a week. I would be happy even if I stayed at 125, but was more toned. I'd love to hear other suggestions though!
  • I know, I just meant that since you can't take the kernels out of a microwaveable bag, there's no real point of putting the unpopped nutrition facts on there since you can't portion out the raw kernels from that type of bag....that's all
  • I think because it's bagged, you have to pop the whole bag....otherwise, yea just pop your own kernels...
  • So annoying that they include the nutrition info for "unpopped". Who is eating raw kernels and then licking the salt and butter from the bag? Just use the popped column.
  • Wow! Thanks for all the amazing suggestions!
  • I live on Long Island....i recommend going to the Chelsea Piers and going to the Frying Pan.....it's an outdoor bar/food stand on a pier out in the water....really cool and a great place to meet people.....then the Chelsea brewery is only a few piers down....the frying pan has lots of options for food....last time I was…
  • I am a teacher, and my school is peanut sensitive, meaning: -peanut free tables in the cafeteria -students who have a reported peanut allergy cannot consume any food not brought in from home This seems like a pretty happy medium to me, although I can understand peanut free schools for students in younger grades because…
  • Thank you!
  • Thanks for all the great suggestions! Can't wait to make me some kale tomorrow!
  • Middle school math teacher!
  • Sounds yummy! Thanks!
  • What helps me is to look up the menu ahead of time and choose what I am going to order before I even go to the restaurant. Then I am not tempted to order something crappy as a last second decision. If I really don't want to get a salad, I look at the fish and chicken options. Look for words like grilled, broiled, and…
  • I have two! Would love to start work on a half sleeve, but unfortunately I would probably be fired.....not sure how having a tattoo makes me any less competant, though....oh, well! Love the ones I have!
  • So happy someone else feels this way! My friends think I'm nuts when I shout PROPOGANDA every time I see government guidelines. As a teacher, I can tell you that yes, ketchup is still considered a vegetable....at least where I am....anyway, I digress....I love fruit, and I cannot believe we have gotten to the point where…
  • True, I know it's not the number on the scale that counts. I think I'll probably wait till next week, but sometimes it's so hard to wait because I want to see some progress so badly! I know it takes time, though. Thanks!
  • Thanks so much for all the info! I am definitely going to do some reading myself on this topic!

  • So is it the same thing whether I eat a whole apple or a glass of apple juice? I hear so many different things about this, just trying to find some clarification. Thanks for the link!

  • I've looked at all different kinds of yogurt, and chobani was one of the only ones I found with no added sugar. All the other brands I looked at have about the same amount of grams in sugar, but I would love recommendations if anyone out there has found yogurt brands that are low in sugar! Thanks!
