I don't drink milk...I think it tastes nasty but I use half and half in my tea and eat green yogurt and cheese. I think of your body tolerates it, great. If it doesn't, don't eat it.

This is a good idea. I know I need to stand up for myself more because I'd let a herd of elephants trample me if it meant not hurting someone's feelings. I'm a people pleaser and always have been. Always put my own needs last (which is how I ended up 75pounds overweight)

You'll probably notice a metallic taste in your mouth or you can buy some keto stix and seeing your urone shows ketones. I lost weight great the first couple weeks then stalled for 3 weeks then started losing again. I'd give it at least 2 months before you adjust anything.

So you said you're eating 500 calories less per day, so are you saying you're eating 1490 a day? Maybe it's not enough if you have a LOT to lose? Also weight loss isn't always linear. You won't lose every single week. Annoying as heck, but a reality.

I am following carb curve from the Primal blueprint right now and feel amazing. I was keto before but always felt exhausted. I have a ton of energy and sleeping really well. I eat between 80 and 100 grama TOTAL carbs a day.

I know know the mfp crowd always promotes calories in calories out but the only thing that has EVER helped me with binge eating is going low carb. After the first couple days I have zero cravings. Zero, zilch, nadda. I'm focussing on 75-100g a day and have no cravings at all between meals.

I only had 10 lb plates on. I could just use the bar (I believe it's 5 lbs). But it doesn't feel heavy at all. I will do what you've suggested though and try it out :)
