If it was weights and cardio I would say yes. But the best way to measure would be to have a heart rate monitor. I don't have one yet but really want one.

I think the more you up your exercise that the "small stuff" won't make you sweat as much. So keep on walking and walk further and further each time. Take a cool shower when you get home if it's bothering you. And drink drink drink water!

Both my husband and myself have gained weight since we married just over 5 years ago. I think my weight gain has affected our relationship a lot more then he's weight gain. I'm much harder on myself then anyone. I've actually yelled at him for not saying something to me sooner after seeing myself in photos. IDK why I…

Calories definitely isn't the only thing that helps you loose weight. How's your sodium intake? Are you getting a balanced diet? IDK I can't see your diary to help you even though I don't always make the best choices. Like yesterday EEEk but you can look at my dairy I took a few weeks off from logging in so you might have…

They say when you loose weight at a slow steady peace, you will have the lowest likely hood of gaining it back. It definitely shows that you are changing your lifestyle for good and not so extreme where once you reach your goal you will have to figure out how to eat and live normally, with out that intent to loose weight..

Congrats on your progress. You look great!

That's AWESOME!

I think the Demand channel just has level one so I bought the DVD today. Yeah I can relate to a large chest. I'm a 38 F I would love to hear of someone with a large chest that has a good sports bra. I would spend a ton of money just for one that held them in place. When I was in highschool I actually broke a few bras in…

That's AWESOME! Congrats on beating your time goal! I'm going to attempt my first one at the end of the month. My goal is just to finish it with out dieing LOL

I have to wear a sports bra a few sizes smaller and then my regular bra underneath. I hate my boobs! I would like to get a reduction after I loose 70bls. With each child they just kept getting bigger and bigger blah! I am considering using duck tape to tie them down! Does anyone else have bad knees that's try this shred? I…

12 pounds in 3 weeks is awesome! It's taken me months to loose what I have lost. Keep up the hard work it will pay off.

Can you get an insulated lunch bag? Water lots and lots of water. Organic peanut butter, fresh strawberries on a low cal whole wheat bread. Hand full of Almonds and a piece of fresh fruit. Freeze a cup of yogurt that should stay good till lunch time and have a piece of fresh fruit or veggies.

Mine is just to feel better. I'm 31 and have felt like I have one foot in the grave. I shouldn't feel that way yet. I want to be more active with my kids and not just sit on the side lines. My oldest daughters are graduating elementary school this year and it's tradition to have a kickball game the kids vrs the adults. I…

haha yeah me either! I first started my weightloss journey getting up at 5 am and going to the gym with a friend. That DID NOT work for me at all! I'm a night owl and early mornings kill me. I tried for weeks but I was barely working it. Nights are so much better for me.

I actually don't have the DVD and not sure if I need it or not. It's on the fitness demand channel. I can't figure out if this is exactly the same thing. I've been asking around but haven't gotten an answer. I have timewarner cable if that helps figure it out LOL IDK Maybe I will just buy the DVD it's only what 10 dollars…

I understand kids getting underfoot when you try to work out at home. That's why I have gym membership but this month DH is working mad crazy hours so the gym is few and far between. Maybe try to do it before the kidos wake up, or after they go to bed.

I would add those 500 calories in your diet. But make the calories count. Like eat fruit, lean proteins, I craved food horribly while breastfeeding it was worst then when I was pregnant. I wish I would have watched what I ate to manage my needs.

I'm a Stay at home mom of 4 and we also have my mother here. I buy groceries for 7 of us and spend about 400 a months that's including diapers, and bathroom products. We have meatless meals about 4 days a week. I also shop at Aldi I love this store! I'm not sure if your area has one but it's worth checking out. They even…

An apple would be a good alternative. It's a bit lower in potassium but has the same amount of carbs and about the same amount of cals. If you don't like apples, 20 baby carrots is another that is a lot higher in potassium but about the same in cals and a bit lower in carbs but not too much lower. And actually peanut…

No one said more then 30 minutes of Cardio is bad for you. It's just not the ideal way to burn fat from your body doing a lot of cardio in a workout. You burn a lot more cals when you combine cardio and strength training. Then just doing one or the other in a work out. And when you only have an hour to work out a few days…
-
I always count it as circuit training all of it. So when i go to workout for an hour 30 minutes cardio 30 minutes strength training. I just say I did circuit training for 45mins cause I've seen here that the cals burned are high on most things on this site. Until I get a Heart monitor that's the best guess I can come up…
-
Unless you have a monitor that tells you exactly what you body burned it's impossible to truly know how many cals you really are burning. I have seen that people have said the cals burn on this site are way over estimated. I personally don't have monitor yet and am looking forward to getting one. My theory is stay a bit…

I used to eat an everything bagel with a ton of cream cheese and butter. But now I eat half of an everything bagel with low fat cream cheese and no butter. I used to eat a baked potato with bacon, cheese, butter, and sour cream, salt and pepper BLAH!!!!!!!!!! Now I eat a baked potato with low fat cottage cheese and garlic…

Congrats to you! Those are huge accomplishments! I can relate to the reflux and throwing up. That was one of the reasons I started down this journey and in doing so I realized it was less the reflux for me making me throw up and more about the fact I over ate that much. Keep up the awesome work!
-
I wouldn't count it as exercise but when you go into settings mark your daily activity as active. Then that will adjust your cals you should be taking in for an active person. Then what ever extra exercise you do track. Like if you walked to work on day and usually don't. Things like that. Also what do you do between your…

I think a potato a day is good. It's the best source of potassium I have found. Gives you almost half of your daily recommendation. Which is very important for your muscle in your entire body working out or not. I never knew how important potassium was till I ended up leaving the gym in an ambulance. I was over all healthy…

My trainer told me I shouldn't do more then an hour of cardio in a workout. And if I'm working out for an hour that half should be weight and strength training. She said that too much cardio doesn't help you burn fat it makes your body burn muscle. She also said that strength and weight training makes you body burn more…

Yogurt. Peanut butter and apples, something along those lines.

\ I have bad knees. I don't know if I will ever be able to kneel on them again. So my trainer has me use an exercise ball to do "girly" push ups. So I was my body out with my hands while laying down on the ball. Till the ball is on my thighs. It also help improve balance.
