The only macro I track is protein, and I just try to eat balanced meals.

BF% is a percentage. So if you maintain your lean mass and lose BF, then you BF % will be lower. It also works the other way, as in your BF% will also be lower if you gain muscle and not gain much BF. So you decide how to want to do it. Build more muscle and not gain as much BF requires calorie surplus. Maintain lean mass…

I am 5'3" and 108 lbs, so I am pretty petite. You can do light weight, high reps, but you are not building muscle with that. I am just sharing what's workin for me.

How much calories you eat will depend on your goal? do you want to gain muscle? or do you just want more definitions without muscle gain (losing BF%)? You want to gaining muscle will require a calorie surplus, and you will gain fat along with the muscle. That's why body builder goes through bulk and cut cycles. If you just…

^This. Great advice as always, Yoovie.

In your case, I would suggest core work. If you are relatively lean already, core work will help them show. For me, diet had just been eating ~ at my maintenance calories. I haven't cut out anything. My abs isn't as defined as the girl in the picture though.

^This. I haven't change in size or weight since I started exercising, but my stomach is not as jiggly as it was.

If that's you in your avatar, then I don't see your lower belly pudge.

dumbbells and kettlebells are in our bedroom, next to the stationary bike. Yoga mats are rolled up and standing up next to the night stand. Swiss ball is rolling around the bedrooms. Preschoolers love the ball. Bench, barbells and plates are in the garage. We park our cars in the driveway.

I lost my belly with HIIT circuit a la bodyrock.tv, if you want to try something else. I suggest using as heavy weight as you can handle for cardio that includes weights. I think that's what caused the change in my body, using heavier weights. I have two kids, not c-section though. You can see a before and after in my…

It's not like your weight magically disappear overnight. You can start losing weight and stop if you start losing too much from areas that you don't want to lose. Genetics dictate where you lose. Some women don't lose from their boobs, so you never know. Good luck. ETA: you can check out mybodygallery.com to see pictures…

What are you doing in term of exercise now?
-
Bodyrock.tv and Zuzkalight on YouTube. Both are HIIT circuit usually around 12-20 min long. All I did was bodyrock.tv in the beginning, and it gave me great results. I started adding more lifting as I felt like I hit a plateau (in term of changes in my body/physique) with only bodyrock.tv. I enjoy lifting, but IMO it's…

Yeah, but Asians have higher risks of heart-related diseases at a lower BMI. So even though we are smaller, we are not healthier. http://www.cbsnews.com/2100-204_162-525887.html

Do a mix of strength training (heavy enough, so that you can barely get throuhg 3 sets of 5-8 reps) and HIIT circuit training. Eat a slight calorie deficit. Make sure you get enough proteins. I, personally, do believe that you need to eat super clean, as long as you have balanced meals and are getting your nutrition in.

I know life can get in the way, but you can do it if you have 12 min. Check out bodyrock.tv or Zuzkalight on YouTube.

^Well said. You don't have to eat super clean, but make sure you get enough protein and have a small calorie deficit.

I don't know what is considered small or medium or large frame, in term of male. He will not fit in my clothes because I am 5'3" and 108lbs, so if your wife is my size, then yes my husband is bigger than you. But if your avatar is you, then I don't think my husband is of a larger frame than you. Yes, you can't gain muscle…

I think he lost a lot of lean mass by losing weight without exercise. My husband is 5'8" and 152lbs, and he has visible abs. I think at this point, you need to strength train to recomposite your body.
