that is true. if you loose it slowly, eat right, drink water, etc, you have a better shot of not having the loose skin. hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones! :)

everybody is genetically different but for the most part, unfortunately, you will get loose skin. I lost 160 and I have loose skin. It really sucks. I bust my *kitten* at the gym but i have loose skin around my ab area so I'll never have abs that show because of it. and when I bend down or sit, the loose skin just bunches…

yes THOUSAND. if you eat a bunch of high calorie food, it's easy...at least for me. this is why I count calories so I keep it within a normal range.
-
i was 25 when I lost all my weight. ive had my loose skin since then. but everyone is different. some people don't get loose skin. some do.

ya it sucks. i lost 160 so i have loose skin. it tightened up a bit but i still have a lot. it does suck that for only a 5-10 year period, I let myself go and now I have loose skin to remind me for the rest of my life. it's hard for it not to depress me but it could definitely be worse, that's for sure!

I do "cheat" days. i try to stay as clean as possible most of the time but probably once a month or so, there is some type of holiday or event that I let myself go all out. i can no problem knock out 25,000 to 50,000 calories in one day. I don't do little "treats" all the time because once I eat a treat, I usually very…

yep its great!

just exercise at home. that's what I do. you don't even need any equipment unless you want to lift weights. I spent maybe $500 for my home gym and I can do basically everything that I did when I was going to a "real" gym. Nobody has a clue that I don't go to a real gym. You can get just as fit at home as you can at a gym.…

I lost 160 pounds with a desk job. All you have to do is burn off more than you eat and you will lose. You can do that with exercise or not. Doesn't matter as long as you are in a deficit. Obviously exercise has other tremendous benefits so I highly suggest it.
-
i don't disagree. if you read my post, i said exactly that. at the time, I was just simply exercising and eating when hungry. I wasn't tired or felt like I was depriving myself of food or exercising too much or anything. turns out, i was in way too much of a deficit. But I didn't know anything about that at the time. I'm…

what don't you understand? I lost 160 pounds total and i had lost probably 100 pounds in 16 weeks. something like that anyways. I wasn't trying to loose crazy amount of weight, it just came off easily since I was exercising and eating less. Looking back, I wouldn't had done it that fast but at that time, I had no clue…

it's easily doable. I lost roughly 100 pounds in that time period.

ate roughly 50,000 calories and was hungry within an hour. This is why I count calories because i will just eat and eat and eat and eat...

eggs are one of those basically "perfect" foods. the fat is good fat. the cholesterol is good cholesterol. It's high in protein. There is pretty much nothing wrong with them. I eat two every day. I could easily eat 22 :)
-
you people are nuts (not really, just different then me haha). If I didn't count calories, I'd easily eat 5000 calories or more without even feeling full. It's a struggle for me to *only* eat like 2500.
-
the number doesn't matter really. Walking is basically one of the best exercises you can do. Hell, because of my job (IT Consultant), I'm lucky to get 5,000 a day. But I lift heavy weights 3 days a week and do some sort of cardio or yoga the rest. Is it "enough"? Depends on what enough is. But that's all i can fit into my…

I went from 320 to 160 and then bulked up to 230 with under 10% body fat and still had loose skin unfortunately. I hate it. I've worked so hard for my health and body but it makes me feel and look like I've not. I'd do the surgery if I had money but I don't and probably will never have that much extra cash laying around…

ya I'm in the same boat. To just keep the weight off, all you need is a calorie deficit. That's it. Obviously exercise has tremendous benefits though. I wake up at 5am every day to exercise. It sucks but I'm glad I do it. I am not a morning person but I tried doing it at night like right before bed and I just couldn't.

it's always been slow for me on android for some reason.

if you normally do not walk much, then of course you are going to feel it. I have a very very sedentary job that unfortunately lasts many many hours of the day. The only exercise I get is when I do p90x for example in the morning before work. If you were to look at my body, nobody would say I'm out of shape. I have pretty…

The only thing to get rid of sugar addictions is to stop eating it. Like all of it, including fruit. Watch any food with added sugar. Don't eat anything with sugar substitutes. You don't have to do this forever but it does take time for your body to kick the addiction. I've done it once before and it's a hell of a feeling…

I see absolutely nothing wrong with "earning" to eat more food. I like the way my body looks and feels but quite frankly, sometimes the only motivation I have for the day to exercise is that I get to eat more if I exercise more lol. I've ALWAYS eaten back my exercise calories since the beginning and I think I did pretty…

weekly at maximum just so you can adjust your calorie intake if needed. But it can take the body weeks to adjust to things. And like 13strong said, there are a LOT of factors that go into weight on the scale. Quite frankly, I could care less what the weight on the scale says as long as my body composition is getting…

ya almost everyone i know is like this towards me. I was once 320 pounds so they think i'm skinny now. I'm not skinny, I'm lean! I have muscle for god sakes! But they get all uppity when I am eating right and exercising like I don't need to do it, i'm too skinny blah blah blah. Um I have to eat right and exercise or I will…

Fitnessblender.com. DDPYoga.com. 21 Day Fix (beachbody.com product), Just go on walks I don't even have a gym membership anymore. I started off working out at home, then joined a gym, now I"m back at home only. There are pros and cons for both but I enjoy at home now as I have proper equipment. But you don't eve need…

ya just exercise before work. I get up at 5am to exercise. It sucks but it's the only time I have to do it.

sounds like you a need a new job. You work someplace that your co-workers and your boss have zero respect for you. But ya, the bathroom stall seems like a strange place to do squats. Seems like there are lots of better places. I'd say take the issue to HR.
