  • I started my journey alone--still am pretty much. I've yet to really start exercising outside of my daily routine (and I started 7 months ago). I've lost 60 pounds on "diet" change. I should also mention that I rarely eat differently than my family. We are big Mexican and Italian eaters, and they would prefer those DAILY!…
  • I meal prep too. It has helped me tremendously!
  • This hit home for me. Thank you for this thread, Quietone44.... My DH is supportive (insert HUGE) but......He is also jealous that I've been consistently on a plan since last June (that coincided with a temporary separation from him). It's been slow, but I've lost about 60 pounds. Now that we have reconciled he loves to…
  • Well, then it looks like I have to do even more shopping. NOO!!
  • First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on losing 90 pounds!! That is my overall goal and I'm about half way there. Hmmm. I'm not a medical expert here, so of course I'm going to ask if you have consulted with your bariatric doctor about your concerns? I want to ask first if you're close to an ideal weight for your height.. because…
  • I started the program a while ago (in December), and regrettably, stopped. Several factors came into play: 1. No gym membership, so training outside in the winter, and not being a seasoned runner= bad on the lungs. I hurt a lot. 2. Whole darn family caught the flu, plus 2 or 3 other illnesses. 3. Got even colder (below 0)…
  • "Another little revelation this week - I didn't know there was such a thing as "size limbo" where you don't know what size you are. I was out shopping and had to pull three sizes to see what looked good because nothing fits like it used to, and I honestly didn't know what size I should be wearing! I've never been so lost…
  • Oh me! Pick me! :) This sounds GREAT!
  • Great ideas! I've been trying to search exercise that doesnt involve the legs and im getting a mixed bag. But all in all, i haven't done terrible this week and ive been watching my intake more carefully. Thank you for your reply!
  • Thank you for this...ive definitely put on water this week and i was shocked!
  • I'd be happy to connect as well! I've lost 40 pounds so far, with an overall goal of around 80. So just about half way there. I'm a daily logger, and I also "like" regularly and comment semi-regularly. Please feel free to add me and let's support each other! Oh, I'm also from Kansas! Happy logging! :)
  • I could use a few more "active" friends. I'm finally in a good place to start working towards my goals and could use the support! Disclaimer: I will totally spy on your food diary! I need new dinner ideas because my rotation is getting boring!
  • I'll be glad when he is old enough to sit in his jumperoo... that's when it's Zumba time!!! :D
  • Day 2 of doing it at home. I borrowed it from my sister to see if I could even do half the moves. I absolutely love this program! I think I will actually start going to classes once my sister demands I return it. Never have I done a program that I think about ALL day (which I have today), with the songs stuck in my head.…

  • F/R sent. :) I'm new as well. We can do this together!
  • I love Honey Nut Cheerios and Special K, Dark Chocolate. I think as long as you pick the "right kind of cereals", you can eat them regularly. Portion control is the key, however. :)
  • Aaaah, so they DO work??? I've been wanting to try these for about 6 months now... I'm glad I finally found a product that actually get's good reviews! So, how much do they curb your appetite? You don't forget to eat, do you?? LOL:laugh:
