I love my force!! I have gone from the one (always forgot to put it on, or take it off before I washed my clothes), then moved to the flex (didn't like not seeing any numbers), so I ordered a Force from the US (I am in Australia and it hasn't been released here yet). I wear it 24/7. I will admit sometimes I forget to set…

A calorie deficit is the difference in the calories used (burnt) and the calories eaten. You need to eat less calories then you are burning in order to lose weight. When you set up your fitbit, it asks you how much weight you want to lose each week, and then it will calculate how many less you have to eat in order to reach…

As some have mentioned, for most women it happens once a month...but this won't apply to you! I go over my calories a couple of days a month - sometimes eating well just doesn't do it, and I eat junk - for example last night I had KFC (which I actually hate, but just had the craving for salty, crunchy stuff). When I was at school, the canteen offered pies, cakes, chips,…

Mine did this too when I first got it. There was some sort of error with syncing between MFP and Fitbit. Reset your flex, and re-download the program to sync.

My heart rate is much higher on the elliptical than the treadmill. Elliptical - 160 bpm and tradmill - 130bpm. But the elliptical is much lower impact - so it may not feel you are working as hard. And yes, calorie counts on the machines are off - even if you put in your age, weight etc. I find my heart rate monitor a much…

I'm in Melbourne too. Am also a Fitbit user - I just got the Flex, and it is so much more comfortable to use!
