I know it's not for everyone, but I'm insulin resistant and cutting carbs down to 30g a day as well as calories has been working for me. I never had any of the other symptoms-headaches, feeling tired, etc, so I can't attest to those benefits. But I think the fact that I am restricting carbs has lead me to chose better…

I paid $510 for a year at Gold's Gym including enrollment fee which is $42.50 a month, but my insurance gives me a $150 refund per year so it's more like $30 per month.

IBy itself it's bland and it's texture is depending on what type of tofu-firm or soft. If you remove some of the liquid it's pretty stable.

For me it's that small goals seem more achievable. It's too overwhelming to think that I need to lose 85lbs. It's not that I'm going to stop after losing only 25lbs, but time frame wise it seems more attainable. Once I reach that goal then I move on to the next goal and so on. I think that to go a total body transformation you also have to work on your mental state. Confidence and self-worth does not come with a set weight. You have to take small steps and like yourself. I think that struggle to accepting yourself can be just as hard as losing weight.
