The walking is just my everyday being active thing - I normally do 2-3 different types of exercise a week. I like the look of the book though, would be good especially if I am away with work :)

I found out today - not everything advertised as "waterproof" is waterproof - I walked 5 miles and got soaked. I was wearing a good jacket that kept my dry but the trousers let me down.

This is what I do and it works for me - I weigh myself at the same time every week once a week don't get on the scales any other time (I have broke this self imposed rule and it did me no good). weigh your food if necessary - don't guess. I don't have a rest day as such - I exercise 3 times a week 1 weight session 1 5 a side football andd 1 flag american football the other days I am making sure I walk 10000 steps (5 miles). 19th Aug was my last day with less then this.
