I need to post tomorrow's goals tonight because I'm trying to talk myself out of goal #1. Here it goes: 1. Morning run before church. 6:15 am. 4-5 miles. 2. Enjoy a lovely Easter lunch! 3. Refuse to feel guilty afterwards.

Well, there's tons of information out there as to the best way to lose weight. A simple formula has always worked for me - eat less and move more. You have to expend more calories than you burn. You burn calories just by being alive and then you burn calories through movement. As long as you use more calories than you…

I'm going to weigh on Sunday morning. I have been un-doing damage from last week and haven't had the courage to step on the scale! Do you guys want to report weekly progress toward our month end goal?

Today I will: 1. Enjoy the day off from work and reflect upon the significance of Good Friday. 2. Go to Step Aerobics. 3. Change out winter clothes for summer in my closet and donate shoes that I never wear. 4. Bonus goal: Shampoo the bedroom carpet where our adorable dog cleans his snout.

That is lovely and thank you for posting!

All you can do is make tomorrow better. We've ALL done that. I'm the same way...I can't eat just a bite or just one. It's all or nothing and once that horse is out of the barn, it's all over. Expect to have setbacks and expect to have successes. You'll do great tomorrow!

As far as adding friends from this thread, if someone says OK to add them - do this: 1. Click on their user name. 2. I usually look at their newsfeed to see if they're on this app for the purpose of supporting fitness (only). No skanky pictures. 3. Go to the little blue friend icon to the far right to request being added…

It's frustrating when the scale won't move but that's normal. Sometimes it won't budge and then you'll lose several pounds. Maybe you can mix up your exercise routine to surprise your body. The "number" on the scale is so much more than just your nutrition and exercise. It reflects hormonal changes, water retention, muscle…

Just for today I will get back on track. I will concentrate on a calorie deficit and I'll remind myself why it's worth it. I will attend church. I'll take a little nap and then enjoy a run in beautiful weather and be thankful for my ability to do so.

Feel free to add me! 8 pounds in the next several weeks is my goal.

Ditto! Add me! Consistent activity on MFP!!!

How do you add friends in this forum? I'm also looking for more people on my news feed to motivate each other and share that special rush every time you see your exercise details and daily calorie goal successes. I have vacillated for a year between my ideal weight and 8-9 pounds heavier than my ideal. (This after having…

I have a couple of opinions on it. I "bank" under eaten calories for a day when I can use them later for extra. I think Weight Watchers teaches you that you can bank now and spend later. At the end of the week, you still average out the calorie limit per day. Secondly, I wondered the same thing, which was, shouldn't I…
