Then thought maybe I could just have 2 as that would be well within calorie limit.
That led to 2 more immediately. Then 4 more 20 mins later.
2 hours later I just sat and ate the rest.
Can't seem to stop when I've started, and every time I think I can control myself I'm proved wrong.
Feel sick and ashamed of myself.
In one fell swoop I've added around 1500 calories to my daily intake and wiped out all the good work I had done this week.
I can only regroup and start again.
Friday's goals:
- tune into stomach
- NO sugar. None.
- push at bootcamp to earn some calories for the evening
- eat well all day and sensible choices when I go out for the evening. ... am going to enjoy some wine
I can SO relate to how you feel. I am the same way. I get going so well, and am doing OK, and think maybe just 1 little dessert, or 1 piece of candy. But I know for me, it just does not work that way. I do believe I am addicted to sugar. Sugar makes me more hungry, makes me want more sugar, and makes it so hard for me to stick with healthy eating. I also am struggling this week. I will have 2 or 3 really good days. Then decide maybe a ice cream cone, or something, and then the damage starts.
But congrats to you for coming back. For not letting 1 bad day lead to 1 bad week, 1 bad month, etc. You are back, and I know you will do great. You are not alone -- I think so many of us have this same problem with sugar! You are doing so great!!
Thanks joan. Stayed off it today at least!0 -

Saturday (4/4)
Well, yesterday was an epic fail...didn't track my food, ate junk food and just couldn't stop, and went home from work and hit the couch instead of the gym. Rather disappointed in myself actually. But today is a brand new day!!!
Just for today, I will:
1. Log my food honestly
2. Drink 80 oz of water
3. Exercise or yoga (some type of activity) for 30 minutes
4. Be grateful with no complaining!
5. Enjoy quality time with my granddaughter who is coming for a sleepover tonight.0 -
Just for Today 4/03
1. log everything
2. 30 mins cardio
3. enjoy a dinner out
Just for today 4/04
1. Overcome the "weekend attitude" - This goal helped me through last week
2. use time alone to get the house clean, maybe even the floors
3. Try to stick to 10k steps and not go over too much - sounds odd, but everything I've read said the body needs one day of rest, so today is the day
4. log everything

I know nothing about that. However, I have been sticking to just my allotted 1200 cals for the past 3 weeks, exercising and losing a pound a week. I read a thread about eating exercise calories and several people explained that MFP already sets you at a deficit so you can eat them. Most people eat about 75% of theirs. Sooo I decided to try it. I lost 3 lbs this week. It's not really scientific, but I'm a lot happier because I can actually eat0 -

First time to post here. Would like to lose 50 pounds! I'm quite skeptical about it. Sigh, well, here goes! For today, which is fast passing by!... I will do some stretching! I actually have some other things I would like to do that would burn more calories, and I will put them on my maybe list. However if I can even just do the stretching for example some restorative yoga poses, I will be happy. In the past "over goaling" has been an issue. Am peri-menopausal, and metabolism machine seems to be broken! I gain weight just breathing air! Anyway, will try again!0
