Remeber, sometimes it takes time for your body to adjust. An important step in losing weight, is working with your physician to rule out any medical issues that may hinder your efforts. It's important to remember, a scale doesn't always reflect the changes occuring in your body. Muscle is denser than fat. A pound of muscle…

If you are ill, I would focus on getting well rather than your weight/fitness goals. Once you are well enough, you could resume your efforts.

Can you do sit ups, crunches, or seated weight lifting?

I hate myself a little too. lol

It's a square from a hershy chocolate bar and a melted marshmallow (having melted from being roasted over a fire) between two halves of a graham cracker.

I totally feel ya on this one. I used to have a rule, no exercise required when TOM is here. Then I had a rule of no exercise on Mondays.....then it occurred to me, my rules aren't helping me to avoid gaining weight. They certainly weren't helping me lose any weight. Fortunately for me, my birth control has eliminated TOM.…

Pintrest is eye-candy for the fat crafter in me.

I try a bite of everything on my plate. Then, I eat my least favorite thing first and my favorite thing last. I eat the middle of sandwiches last.

My sister's father-in-law. If I wanted to listen to an a**hole, I'd fart.

I think it's a good idea to eat a little bit before you work out. Also (as already suggested), use your heartrate to determine your aerobic level.

Uck! My coworker just tried to convince me her husband lost 20 lbs in 10 days by drinking this powder formula and taking three herbal pills a day. Then, she went on to say he was able to eat whatever he wanted b/c the powder formula and pills made his body burn the fat. It's that plexus slim stuff. She wanted myself and…

I really like the standard Adventure game that comes with the Kinect. I also like using the Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012.

In AL they post your weight on your license. My recorded weight has not changed since I was 16. In reality, I'm currently 60 lbs heavier.

I put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in a year!

Good job!

I have a double crown in my hair (hair whirls or cowlicks). I can bend the first knuckles on my fingers without bending any other knuckles.

Welcome to the crowd! Feel free to add me, if you like.

When you diet and exercise you change the hormone balance in your body. Yes, it's important to have a good hygene, but that won't prevent acne. If in time it doesn't settle or clear up, speak to a dermatologist. Adult acne (unlike teen acne) doesn't respond very well to general acne scrubs. Make sure you are getting enough…

Awesome! I'm going to try this!

I hate the smell, taste, and texture of peanut butter. I talk to my pets (4 cats and a dog) like they can actually understand me. Don't worry, there's no baby-talk. I flew over the Rockies in a 2 Seater Cessna Airplane. It. Was. Awesome. Though I eat them, fish freak me out. I am a Certified Fraud Examiner.

No matter what it's made of, a pound is a pound. A pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat.

First things first, go to your doctor and get a full check up. You need to know your blood, bone, and other numbers. Eat your calories. Exercise and eat appropriate foods. Focus on the right numbers. Sometimes the numbers on the scale aren't the most important thing. A pound of muscle equals a pound of fat. However, fat…

I'm giving up my beloved chocolate. Even though I'm dieting, I still eat it at least once a day (darn those 100 cal snack packs). It's really the only major vice that I have going on right now. A lot of my friends and family like to say they are going to give up their time to help others. I think that's a great idea too.

I used Chantix to help me quit. It worked really well for me. You have to take it with a good bit of food (sandwiched in the middle of your meal) or it can make you very nauseous. Whatever you do, you have to be willing to commit to it and want to change.

Definitely my butt. I can't afford to lose any of my boobs. I'd be flat as a pancake!

yoga, squats and lunges, localized cardio (i.e. jumping jacks, running in place, jump roping, stepping up and down on a stool), using a chair to do lifts with your arms or legs, make heavier weights out of empty juice or milk containers (fill them with water or sand)
