I'm proud of myself for being two days binge free. That may not seem like much but it recently got to the point where I was bingeing everyday. I also got up early today to exercise :o For the rest of the month my sole focus is to not binge and I'm taking it just one simple day at a time.

Thank you, this is really inspiring :) Well done, you must feel great.

Just for today I will stay within my calorie goal. Just for today I will NOT go rummaging in the cupboards after dinner. I will take a tea up to bed, instead :)

I am in a similar situation and can't work out the best solution... To stay away from chocolate, biscuits and cakes altogether (my trigger foods) to try and curb my cravings or to have treats regularly so that I don't feel deprived. I feel that the former could work but don't think I have enough will power to get through…

This made me laugh. I think it was the like a boss bit. I like feeling my waist!

This is the same for me too. Since losing weight I've found I've not been able to eat certain foods in moderation. I've tried having treats as a regular part of my routine but for some reason cakes, chocolate bars and biscuits have become trigger foods for moderate binges. However, it seems that the less I have of those…

I've been thinking about starting outdoor running recently as I'm getting bored of doing it inside. I figured I'd start by buying a nice pair of running shoes so that I have to go or else they'll go to waste! I think that I'll be ok after that first trepid run.. As long as I don't get any hateful comments or fall over that…

Muesli with milk topped with flaxseed, greek yoghurt, blueberries and a bit of honey. Though I've just recently discovered the amazing overnight refrigerator porridge and have that with raspberries and walnuts and honey.

I've added a few people and now have a more active news feed which is nice and helps with the motivation! Yeah distraction is definitely important. Saying to myself 'give it fifteen minutes and see if I still want something to eat', then going off and reading a book or something, finding I completely forget about the urge…

Just started We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. Looking forward to reading some more tonight.

Wholemeal roll with avocado, salad leaves, tomatoes and spring onions. Followed by a Graze snack.

I just had to google what a burpee was and consequently think 50 of those things is out of the question but what the hell, I'll try for five!

Thanks for your post, crepes. I had a look at the Me vs the Binge thread yesterday but couldn't bring myself to have to post Me 0 Binge 1! I'm feeling more positive today. I did start looking round for something else to eat after my (already adequate) lunch but had a cup of tea instead and now the urge has passed and…

Today I binged despite having been so determined that September was going to be a new start for me. I don't know what triggers a binge, but I know that while having one, I feel out of control. The feeling after the binge is terrible, a mixture of anger and disgust at myself, and just feeling completely low. It's almost…

Been on MFP for ages but only recently discovered the forums! Would like some friends so feel free to add me.

I receive mine once a fortnight too. You can change your box type to suit, eg the Boost Box is 'nutrient dense', and the Sustain Box is fibre and protein heavy.

It's only right that my first post on this forum should be on a thread about cats. They're all so lovely! This is Leon doing ballet. Or just really relaxed, I'm not sure.
