  • I drained well, and 1 to 2 tablespoon of dill relish, one boiled egg chopped and very little mayo, salt and pepper. I take can tuna and place in frig when I come home from store so when I make it already chilled. Taste much better when cold.

  • I had been a diet coke junkie for over 30 years. Six weeks ago I started My Fitness Pal for the first time. I could not believe it but I cold turket quit drinking my diet coke, breakfast, lunch, dinner and inbetween. I was very disappointed I did not lose weight by doing so but have still not went back. I know I am a…
  • Definitely not enough calories. I mark 1 month today doing fitness pal. I've lost 6 pounds, I eat usually all 1200 calories a day, exercise daily and eat back about 60% of exercise calories, the other 40% helps make up for any miscalculations o. Daily calories, don't give up. My sister is doing the same thing and not…
  • I don't have any foods I say I will never eat. I am eating right and feel the best I have in years. I have sleep apnea and I am now sleeping for the first time in 2 years due to my life style change. I love My Fitness Pal, I've learned so much by just watching my diary.
  • I'm on my 4th week. The first 2 I did but now I'm not eating all back. Either none of 60 percent. The reason I do this is I track everything but the database may not be accurate on foods that I can't see label. For example, my husband and I go out at least twice a week and hard to tell exact calories at restaurants. By…
  • I just bought a small bag of sugar free peppermint york patties. Going to try one if I have a chocolate attack, LOL! I've done 3 weeks and haven't gave in to my favorites, snickers and chocolate covers peanuts! It is frustrating that grocery store put all those candy bars right where you check out, I make sure to skip the…
  • I can't do the Elliptical, it is much harder for me so I end up giving up to quickly. On the other hand I love treadmills. You can adjust the workout to whatever you feel you can do that day. I am still in the market for a new one, haven't made up my mind which one to get yet.
  • Spring salad with lots of veggies and homemade steak fajita.
  • Okay I think I do all mention except no matter if its up or down I check twice, if I lose I may recheck a third time, Lol! I then immediately go put in my diary.
  • Thank you all, some great ideas. What do you flavor your unsweet tea with? Giving up soda was something I thought I could not do, I want to eventually develop taste for unsweetened tea. Again thank you for all your comments and support:wink:
  • I do love raspberry tea, but at restuarants is to sweet. Can you buy in packets to take with you?
  • I definitely DON"T like it. Several years ago my husband and I did this together. He lost weight much faster than me but he always does. When we went without many of the foods we use to eat we became very quick tempered. I think after 6 weeks we could have hurt one another. 2 years ago my doctor reccomended the South Beach…
  • Wow, great job, please share how you did it. Keep it up you look great
  • Price range 400 up to 800
  • I don't mine spending the money if it is worth it, so many out there. Just don't want to buy one that doesn't hold up. Biking now but what to change to walking and biking. Work to late to go for long walk so think treadmill would change in up.
  • Congratulations, keep it up you have proved you can already!
  • I log everything including water, tea, and my daily vitamin supplement. I do this just to remind me to take my vitamins and I never would drink water before I started fitness pal, now I do and if helps me track to drink 8 glasses a day.
  • I think this week I will go with only eating back 60 percent of calories earned back from exercise and see what happens:)
  • By the way after reading all the good remarks on eggs, had a veggie omelet for my breakfast today!
  • Thank you all for your post. I will be 2 weeks tomorrow on changing my lifestyle. I know in past I ate to much bread, grew up eating bread for every meal and in between, LOL! I am not taking it completely out as it would be a diet plan then, instead I do not eat any white bread at all, limit my bread intake, buy only 100…
  • How long has it took you to lose the 73 pounds, that's great. My main goal is to lose if safely, and to keep it off, my total I'd like to reach is 75 lbs.
  • Thanks, I am being as accurate as possible with dairy, I purchase a digital food scale, measure and weight everything to ensure my calorie count is as accurate as possible. I will say I'm only about 2 weeks in keeping track and using fitness pal. I am learning a lot. I do need to work on my sodium intake as most days I am…
  • Bump
  • FYI if you have a android phone go with a android app, you can sync everything. If you have a iPhone then iPad but expensive.
  • Forgot to say the Acer is 10 inches same size as iPad, the nexus 7 is a good 7 inch which I just purchased for husband for Christmas.
  • I've had a Acer Iconia tablet for a year and half. I just purchased one for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is much cheaper than iPad and goes on sale a lot. Week after Christmas Best Buys had for $229 was is around $349 regular good price. The iPad has a better speaker and camera but honestly Acer camera is good and…
  • Thanks I really feel the heart racing and the muscles burning when I bike. I agree watch the calories and do some type exercise each day.
  • I just bought a couple kinds of hard candies. Have to check the calorie and ingredients. Sugar free candy can be very misleading so check the label facts. I take for instance a cinnamon or Werthers Orginal Sugar Free hard candy, it last a while and get me through the late night sweet craving.
  • Treat yourself to something you like to finish off the remaining calories, its like your reward for doing so well! Good luck.
